This is one of the worst mosquito bites ever (and one of the few) on me.
Mosquitoes _ _ _ _ _. Literally.
The mosquitoes had their fulfilling meal on us yesterday during the filming for TCP (oh, in case you wonder what's that, it's an online production by my friend). And unfortunately, some didn't survive, here I meant the mosquitoes of course, because some were busy being "mosquito-o-meter" slapping away on themselves or others for revenge.
Mosquito bites get really irritating when it's on the feet, toes, fingers, palms or worse, on the soles!!
HUH!
Don't ever take this type of small creature lightly... they can be deadly.
And to all who asked about why do I look so sun-burnt, I am in fact sun-burned, yes, it's because of the filming.
Ahh. I forgot about my favourite sun-block - Banana Boat. comment (0)
Off to the party now, and will be updating this space soon!
- 4:38pm
26 Apr, 2:45pm
Alright! Back and well (sort of) from the party!
I realised almost all of our Yr2/04 class are involved in the Oops party! It's 18/23 participation!
The party rocking @ M.O.S!
A party for the SP students!
Together with Leen & Jov, we are the Ushers for VIPs!
Our VIPS are friendly and nice... and some asked for Lollipop and chose their preferred flavours too! Haha... Mrs Lam, the CASS director was so kind to go out to check the queue into M.O.S and see if the students are able to get in or not! How nice of her!
People should learn to come early! If not when you see the queue gets to that kinda length it simply spoil the thing... and come early so that we as the crew can get in to enjoy the fun too! We really missed out a lot 'cos we had to stay on for our role as the ushers.
Look, the stuff inside are actually a survival kit you'll need in school...
and the little note here explains it all!
And this is Ice, the supervisor for the Bouncers! She's a real nice & friendly lady, and does her job well! *Taken with the help of Mr. Big Bouncer!
The whole party was cool and supremely fun!
When we saw the principal at the entrance, he was dressed in a top with a button or two unbuttoned, and was sort of like hop into the M.O.S happily, even the bouncer had to hold him back to pass him the drinks coupon. HAHA
He joined in @ the dance floor too! Can you imagine that our Principal actually joined in the dance with all the students?! All the students surrounded him and danced along, cheering and Hi-5 with him! So freaking COOL can!
The event was a success with the help of everyone in/out Oops! YAY!
Thanks to our principal for sponsoring for the event of the night, making Welcome Back to School party a hit!
The greatest thing is that we met and got to know quite a number of nice people around!
But the few -ve points was Aileen was MIA during the dance! And she couldn't find us too... *So sorry Aileen* We'll make it up to you.
Then the whole dance segment ended quite abruptly and was too short! The songs wasn't as hip as in it was the previous time too...
The night view of Clarke Quay.
And then, this was the aftermath of clubbing...
We needed to rest desperately, so went to Central and go around looking for somewhere where we grab a bite or something, in the end went back to Starbucks where we first came across but has got no seats.
My Chocolate Cream Chip!
Taken with the help of a friendly staff in Starbucks!
Decided to remove the post yesterday... if you haven't read it, it's not a loss anyway.
Just felt that it wasn't of much significance.
Here's for today, which is something to note of!
Went to have dinner right below the Singapore Flyers
@ Popeyes, I only liked the mashed potato.
We then rushed to catch our school's theatre performance - An Inspector Calls.
The performance was a fund-raising event for the President's Challenge, so of course, Mr President S R Nathan was present! The tickets as you can see, is priced at $50 each for the public!
This was during the interval, having refreshments, though catered to only invited guests, we got ourselves some drinks as well!
These are the casts!
(L to R) The maid (not as in the movie - The Maid), the son, mother, inspector, father, daughter & son-in-law.
The performance was great! It's simply amazing how they could remember their lines for a 2-hour-long performance LIVE! That means no NGs allowed!
TV production allows for NGs, but it's tiring to have to keep repeating the same lines for different angles shoot.
So, being in this, you've got to have the passion for it.
And I admire their effort!
The sound & music effect fits in very well and the timing was accurate!
So much so for the performance... I'm beginning to develop a liking for theatre performances... Maybe should go catch some of it at the Esplanade.
The living room set
The bar counter set
And this is Kit Chan! When Trix said that Kit Chan was present too, all of us went "Where?! Where?!" Haha...
This is us with the Inspector! (He is the one featured in the KFC ad)
This is us (again) with the casts and the 2 very important lecturers who has made this event happen!

Ok, this is freaking... how do you say it?
This research module made us search for others' blogs, so guess what? Whatever you try type in the search box, be it school, my course... you'll find my blog listed there.
Everyone is saying, Eh this is LEEYAN's blog!
I've heard it umpteen times... even the day before the class... I was told my blog comes up like the top in the RESEARCH they've done in other classes, so I went home and tried googling myself.
Great...
I've made it all too easy to be searched since I blog about school stuff like quite frequently.
Doesn't mind it though... since a blog is something that is not private which means internet = no privacy.
If only I had known that people would be clicking into my blog and increase the readership, I would have posted like an nuffang ad to reap some $$ from it.
So if you are reading this...
thank you for visiting, and I know "your" existence.
Feel free to tag or leave comments...
Luckily I don't have the habit of bitching about people publicly, I do it privately. HAHA!
But if you do know of any gossipy blogs, post me the link. comment (0)
First to shopping…
Visit Bugis for the 4th time in two weeks last Friday. This time was with Jie Meis, and was introduced to some good food by them… Ice Monster & Miss Clarity Cafe.
*Updated with 3 photos below! (from PB)
Then to school!
Well, before you knew it, the 10 weeks of holidays has past just like that! And yes of course, first to shopping then to school! Almost everyone wore uniquely today, and that’s superb ‘cos it’s so refreshing to have a new look!
To start off school today, we helped to give out Oops! Lollipop tissue (*exclusive!) to the students @ Dover. It’s part of a promotional event for the MOS party organized by CASS’s magazine – Oops! held on next Friday.
And just a point to be taken, Singaporeans is not the usual freebies-die-die-must-take! Or rather, most SP students are so… (To think the packaging of the tissue is so nice!) But at the end of it, we still managed to give it all out!
Having to lug the laptop around makes one very clumsy. Hopefully it’ll be restricted to Mondays only…
First day of Year 2 wasn’t that bad. At least time passes quite quickly… and I’m very looking forward to DMA (Digital Media Applications) which we will be able to edit out our own trailers for a show!
Oh yeah, here’s to mention about the crowd at the off-school hours!
The train towards Pasir Ris stopped halfway into the station, no idea why.
And on our side… look at this.
The whole platform is swarmed by SP students!! And to think the next train comes only in 7 minutes, but… it wasn’t accurate actually, the “Arriving in 2 minutes” stopped there for like quite long. Then it has to happen that the transition at JE station has it’s next train to terminate at Yew Tee.
That’s the typical peak hour day for you
OH! There’s shuttle bus service to Ngee Ann Poly from WDL bus interchange la!!
*Can SP provide it too? I’m sure there’s sufficient students traveling from WDL to SP!
Oh yeah, it's the 100th post since 7 July 07!
And to mark this day with a special cause too, 'cos it's also the last episode of Folks Jump Over The Wall... :( or :D ?
Have also been the "plant" & facilitator for the Y1 orientation for the past two days.
"Plant" meaning some of us (Y2s) were put among the Y1s, pretending to be one of them, and well... I am the least suspected 'cos I didn't really talked and looked really lost (as quoted by Ms Chang, saying that I looked really like a Y1) HAHA and I believe I behave more like a Y1 than a Y1 lah, 'cos they were quite outgoing.
So today was more fun as we played CASS la de tour (or CASS de la tour), whatever you name it, it's something like amazing race. I (together with Cassandra & Kevin) took our "form class" and felt a sense of belonging, and feel very welcoming to be in the class and of course have the urge to wish that they win! Haiyah, if only this race is awarded according to timing, we would have won 'cos we reached our ending point FIRST!
But too bad it wasn't, so the title of 'Most Longest Leg' among the 7 would belong to us ultimately!
(Ahh... yes yes, quite contradicting for me to lead this class to winning this title.)
Ok anyway, "my class" won 3rd overall!
Oh well, DADP does cheer loudly and because there's only the two classes for their course, they were pretty united as a whole course, winning the first two positions. But something is lacking in their unity is that they are outcasting the DMC, altogether we are as a School of CASS, there shouldn't be a gap in between isn't it, even though you are together as a course?
The food served after the whole event was good! And hopefully would be able to get the pictures taken today by the juniors and the photographer...
Then rushed off at 7pm+ home for FJOTW! =x
Happy ending! *Wishing for a 2nd series since the story has a "to be continued..." sort of ending.
Tomorrow would be the last day of orientation, and the juniors will be having their flag day!
But I'm put in charge of collecting the tins from 05... =/

comment (0)First post of the month, just something random.
Yesterday went to the long-time-never-visit Bugis with Jov and Leen and found that the foodcourt they used to have is no longer there, and what was present was restaurants ranging from western to chinese food. So decided to tried this shop named 红锅 where they sell 过桥米线 (cross-bridge vemicelli?) 'cos I was attracted by their humongous-ly big bowl (and it costs $6.80 only, a rather reasonable price!)
I could hear the honking of the vehicles affected by the causeway jam in the office... at home... -.-
Suddenly got heaps of work to do when during normal days I'm having mushrooms growing on me... but anyway, the pay for last month is in!
