Met up with HP, PB, PJ and our star - PS @ Starbucks yesterday night to have a chat before PS leaves for Shan Dong today.
So we chat till KF was off from her work @ 10pm and decided to join us @ Starbucks too...
I didn't know that PS wasn't aware that we are going to the airport and stay overnight there in order to send her off her early flight in the morning the next day... so I was being careful with my words... PB joined us a bit later than the original time...
Then suddenly PS asked PB, "你从哪里来?"
PB: 家里咯,因为我回家放东西了 then 吃晚餐才来
PS: 啊?Then 为什么你拿大包小包的来?
PB: *trying to weave out a lie* 哦,因为我直接拿了这个bag就走了嘛。。。因为我还要放我的水壶,wallet这些。。。
PB asked how's her mum feeling... then she said they cried for very long at home... then tears start to well up at the brim of her eyes...
The night before, I dreamt that all 7 of us were staying over at her house, and I asked how her mum was feeling... her mum replied she would miss her...
KF dreamt herself going to Shan Dong.
HAHA what dreams...
and after that we went to the MRT station to meet up with KF, and took a lot of pictures, I mean, blurred ones, till we finally gave up and asked a passer-by to help us take a good one. We wished PS farewell, bon voyage... byebye... etc. *HUGGED* and bid goodbye...
then after she went off, we hurriedly catch the train, and luckily for us that we've dragged such a long time, we are still able to catch the last train to Jurong East then towards Pasir Ris.
We somehow felt that PS had suspected we are going to the airport... and laughed our heads off @ the stories we tried to cook up to cover up. HAHAHA...
Finally we got to Tanah Merah, and no more train to airport, so had to take a cab.
KF got this habit of chatting with Taxi uncles... she tried to spark off a topic then continously ask and get replies... haha... we were busy having fun even during the travel!
We managed to get enough information from PS about which terminal she'll be at... transit... etc., so got to know which Row to find her afterwards. Settled down @ Popeyes and had some supper while chatting about 成年往事 during our Primary school days... our another source of entertainment was UNO!
I love to PK with the last person surviving in the game with me... hahaha...!
It's so amazing we stayed up the whole night doing all those stuff, and we walked from T1 to T2 (because skytrain operates only @ 5am) @ about 4am for McDonald's breakfast. I'm so super hungry!
I had my sausage mcmuffin with eggs and half a hashbrown... PJ couldn't finish her hotcakes and left me to eat one of it, then KF cut half of her's for me too.
I feel very excited about going back to T1 to see PS when it's about time!
I want to see her reaction! Though felt that she could have expected it...I feel very excited about going back to T1 to see PS when it's about time!
We saw her mum first, and PS was checking in. Then when she turned,
"Eh!"
We asked her, 你有觉得surprise吗?
有啊, she replied calmly.
*then she cried*
*seeing her cry I felt like crying too*
Then we were like, har... 你有怀疑了啊?
PS: 有啦!昨天PB就穿帮了,大包小包。。。第一个穿帮的就是她!
PJ, KF & Me: eeeyer... PB!
HAHAHA...
several times PS couldn't control her tears... when I see her so, I couldn't too.
Then I called RW & HP to let them bid farewell to PS.
PS hugged her mum a few times when it's about time for boarding, and she started crying again...
Her mum: "不要哭啦har...你看mummy都没有哭...出去磨练磨练一下"
*very touched by that scene*
I don't know why... but my tears just flow like a tap on and off.
Kept telling myself it's only 5 months, take it as we are busy with school work, and will be able to meet soon...
She finally went in for boarding... and can see that her mum can't bear to see her go... but her mum was so good in controlling herself... in any way, this is the first time their only daughter, sister will not be by their side for as long as 5 months... her whole family was there to send her off.
Airport is a place filled with extreme feelings.
After all the emotional stuff, we went on to T3 'cos it was still early for me to go back to school for briefing. Look at T3! It has a sleek & futuristic outlook, and this outlook is extended to the MRT station as well.
PJ and KF was super tired. Look at picture below.
PB was at the brink of falling asleep too.
Seeing them in such position, I got them to start our way back... and we took a bounce from Pasir Ris all the way... halfway, a call came and asked me to go sign the contract of getting a job. Initially thought could go home after the briefing... but.... never mind.
Still, my arrival was too early, so took a couple of pictures from the overhead bridge.
The briefing was a drag as usual.
Sneaked off halfway with Jov and Leen as Jov had to make her way for work, and Leen accompany me to go sign the stuff @ Orchard. Saw this race car in a booth and went in to have a look... it was actually a car racing game, which you sit in the race car, but it doesn't move, only the image on the screen is moving. We were offered the chance to do so, but we daren't. =x
We went on to have our lunch, and I went home from there, Leen set off unwillingly for her work.
When I reached home, it's already 3.15pm, haven't slept the whole day, and now I'm here blogging, with pictures all uploaded. HAHA
Feel the day very fulfilling although it seems busy.
But somehow, when sitting on the chair doing nothing @ the airport earlier on was quite a relaxing antic for me too.
Humans are such.
Bon Voyage PS!
Enjoy the days there and we'll be seeing each other soon!
Update us about yourself there! :)
*A special 29 Feb which comes 1 time in 4 years.

Went to Cine for K box with PS, KF & RW, and at this point of time, we are still entitled and at the privilege of enjoying the K Student package!
Was joined by PB later.
During the whole K singing session, it was especially hard to sing A*mei's songs... PS and KF was having a hard time struggling to pitch their tune to hit the note... I didn't try. HAHA
This is KF, we all agreed her nasal voice is very strong, but well, her singing is not too bad too!
This is PS in action, and she's good @ it!
Kelly's 一秒钟的永远 is quite tough too.
I like 第一天 by Stefanie, very light hearted and high!
We walked to Plaza Sing for dinner @ Cartel and ordered 4 main course, sharing among 5 of us are Pork's Rib, Crispy Pork, Pan Fried Macaroni, Seafood Pasta... and later adding a Banana Peach Waffle as our dessert. WOO!
Then walked to Far East! If all commuters are like us, transportation companies will have lesser earnings! =x
On the way there, PS saw a familiar figure and it was indeed him! A "popular" figure known for his stri**ing antics and is a eyebrow trimmer. 2nd time seeing him on the road of Orchard after a long time since...???? that time was also with my Childhood gang.
PS ended up buying a pair of shoes istead of jeans, which I quoted from her as, "will regret if don't buy."
We all felt that PS is having a mega shopping spree, in addition to her buying T-shirts with KF at F.O.S., before her intern to Shan Dong takes flight this Fri.
PB is flying off to Europe in July & PJ is flying off for her intern @ US Disneyland in mid-year also! Everyone is flying off!~
I guess the last meeting of all 7 of us would be in the later part of the year already! *Aww...*
A great day out together with them, as usual. :)
Oh, and Indonesia's Sumatra had yet another Earthquake, only 640km away from Sg, and of course we feel the shake, I mean, not us, other people in the usual areas like Toa Payoh... my house area too, as told by my brother. Toa Payoh never fails to be affected, maybe because of the name? Da Ba Yao (大把窑) Ha!
They also had forest fire again, so guess what? We see it too.

天气:雨天
The weather had been cooling and comfortable for the recent months... but has it occurred to you that it hasn't been raining for about as long as well?
And it did, started about half an hour ago.
Looking towards the direction of Johor, it's as blur as when there's PSI.
It hasn't been so smooth sailing from the start of 2008, for the Chinese entertainment industry.
We are faced by MC King's passing on, then HK's scandalous photos circulation, and just 3 days ago, Fei Fei (沈殿霞 a.k.a. Lydia Sum) has passed on due to cancer.
But at least something good has happened - Yesterday, Singapore has won the bid in hosting the FIRST Youth Olympics in 2010!
Let's hope for better days ahead, in the year of 2008, for everyone, for you and me.
So free...

Yes, F-R-E-E.
The word I've been longing for since the school started.
Now I'm so free to do anything I had wanted to do.
I wanted to catch 7pm & 9pm drama, the usual 8pm timeslot for variety programmes, sometimes even 5.30pm encore dramas.
But now, none or say, most are not what attracts me! Even 8pm variety timeslot, I only catch Tuesday's Buzzing Cashier, Wednesday's Folks Jump Over The Wall, and Saturday's Sheng Siong Show. Occassionally watching others randomly.
If there's something to add on, it's 10pm HK drama - Revolving Doors of Vengeance.
So I've been watching another HK drama - Dicey Business on DVD.
PJ went to HK and is back, and HP went to Perth on Sun.
Oh, and watching news. Realised Zhang Hai Jie is back as news anchor on Saturday (thought was in March).
Looking forward to Just In Singapore, 9pm local drama starting next week.
When you aren't free to do things, there's load of things waiting for you.
When you are free to do things, nothing is there for you to do.
I've once read this story from a primary school chinese textbook, I think, it's about a device which allows you to save the time that you have on hand for future use.
If only there's such a device...
I've always remembered this story... haha
Oh, and PS is going for intern in Shan Dong at end of the month, won't be seeing her till mid-Aug!
Everyone is going overseas! I wish I were...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So free... to update here with just some thoughts.
Why people hold such negative views about guys who cry?
Guys are human. They have feelings and emotions. They have the right to express them, regardless of their identity, status, in public or in secret. Tell me about 男儿有泪不轻弹, 只是未到伤心处. Tears come from within the heart.
Sometimes, a guy's tears may even be more impactful than a girl's.
Don't be a always hold pessimistic views about things in life.
There are people who hold on to life so preciously, because they had no choice.
There are people who commit suicide, but they had choice.
The world has not come to an end when things don't go well for you.
The earth still revolves, life still goes on.
Think for those around you.
When you aren't happy, they aren't too.
Post more happy happenings, delete the unhappy ones.
So that when you look back, you'll have better memories.

New Year mood!

Gambling to adds to the atmospheric feel of the arrival of the new year! =x
Saturday
Was at auntie's house in the east where the adults play mahjong, and I watch & learn.
Then finally at night, we, the younger ones (=x) played BAN LAK (blackjack) together! Was actually on a winning streak when my cousin was the banker, but changed to myself, I start to lose money! My xiao yi zhang (uncle) acts as the banker later on and ate up most of the player's bet till the number of players start to decrease HAHA and me and my 3 other cousins are the surviving ones HEHE
In the end, managed to win some money.
Sunday
Actually meeting my childhood friends a.k.a. the usual 7 of us, but turned out to be 5 ('cos PJ and HP was going overseas) in the mornng to go to KF's house first, but because of the overnight stay at auntie's house, had to go home and get changed first, so went later.
They were already playing Dai-dee, no wonder they are able to stay that long till my arrival...
Changed to Ban Lak! As usual, lost money when I'm the banker, but recoup some from PS HAHA
Over at PB's house, we had our lunch and start to unfold the table for mahjong! LOL
We picked our position and I got 东 (east). First round, and I got 自摸平胡! WAHAHA. Too early. Later rounds I lost all that they had paid for my winnings. -.-! Still! I win some, less than a dollar. PS was the big winner, PB's house 旺 her!
Over at my house, we played Ban Lak again =x Me, the banker had initially win money but lost at the end. It's a curse. Whoever is playing at their own house would lose money!!
And in between there were some funny incidents:
1) They heard some music playing and and asked about it, so I told them it was the clock, then PB asked, "那晚上不是会响?" My reply: "超过12点不会响了" IMMEDIATELY after my reply, PS asked, "那晚上不是会响?" LOL! All of us laugh till~~
Only she didn't hear what I just said. HAHA
2) I told KF, "开凤,开" (requesting her to show her cards - Kai Feng, Kai [Open]), and starts to get the kick of saying it 'cos of the repetitive words used. And PS say, "培冰,培(陪)" (Puay Bing, Puay [PAY]) LOL!!
We got so much laughters out of incidents like these!!
Then, we were prepared to win from PS at her house, our last stop of new year visiting, but 'cos there were 5 of us, she let the 4 of us play, so she was saved from the possible lost! I got the position "东" again! PB was the most intolerant of RW's "slow-ness" HAHA
It was almost the last few rounds and I threw a tile that managed to get KF a 5-folds win! GOSH!
KF was the big winner there, and I didn't lose. So, guess who lost the most? =x
We were changing from house to house for new year visiting, and changing from game to game =x But it was so much fun! It was some friendly and non-harm gambling, 小赌怡情 hehe
Had a long long sleep of 13-hours till the morning of today was over!
Happy New Year! comment (0)
Movies galore!

Watched Kung Fu Dunk with Bro & cousin last Saturday.
The basketball scenes wasn't very exciting, and the inclusion of 乾坤大挪移 was just for effects.
The Kung Fu scenes on the other hand, was more attention grabbing. There were also some humorous and touching areas in the relationship between Jay and Zeng Zhi Wei.
Then watched Sweeney Todd and Ah Long Pte Ltd on Monday with PS & KF.
Sweeney Todd is a disappointment, not because of the cast, but the story revolves around only the characters doing nothing but shaving, slitting throats, making pies and... yeah, don't doubt it, it's a musical.
Ah Long Pte Ltd was a completely different genre from the previous one, the whole cinema was filled with laughters, and the laughing vital points are mostly gathered in Mark Lee's role.
But the editing at some parts such as the wedding scene wasn't very well done, the voice were cut off at some points. And this movie is still not Jack Neo's best yet, I'm still loving I Not Stupid Too. It touches my heart no matter how many times I watched it.
Lastly, it was CJ 7 yesterday with Jov & Leen.
Wasn't really attracted to watch this movie at first, was just a casual attempt in going into the cinema to catch Stephen Chow's production.
The CJ 7 was so cute!! And the interaction between Stephen Chow and his "son" was well done! And I'm touched by their father-son relationship.
Rather surprised by Stephen's effort this time that he didn't include his usual 无理头 scenes or acting, so this movie was more realistic compared to his other movies despite the inclusion of the sci-fi factor.
So guage for yourself which is the movie you would catch this new year!

The crowd there was simply... AMAZING. Ever see Sentosa having a traffic jam? This is the time to witness the moment!
They are standing in the middle of the carpark having an impromptu meeting.

Filming... again?

HAHA
Made an appearance in The Changing Point 2's (TCP) filming today.
The Changing Point 2 is actually a series after The Changing Point... (like duh!)
It's a production by a friend - Sean, together with other mates, some of which you would recognise them! Just go and click on the link under my Affiliation's list!
Seeing them film reminds me of the time we filmed for our own project... it really takes up time... a lot of time. What's more is they had lighting too, which we didn't use 'cos it wasn't necessary.
And oh, RP is such a nicely designed place! With everything furnished in a modern way... waa... and there are sockets & chairs & slopes everywhere.
But well... every place has it's own advantage, SP has got the course I want, so... I'm happy with it though I'm still drooling over RP's great facilities, and one of which was the outdoor activities area, which my dad was involved in designing and constructing!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TCP casts are fun to work with... haha... go watch their first series before the new series is out! One series has 10 episodes of half an hour for each.
Thanks for giving me the chance to experience the filming process with you guys!
PS: Hope there are chances whereby we can cooperate again!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, yesterday's Sheng Siong Show was supposed to have 5566 as guest performers, but they had flight delay due to the weather. So in the end could only have a 3G teleconference with them.
And guess what happened to the performing section?
It was done by Kym & Dasmond!
They did very well!! *APPLAUSE*

Windy day
Friday, February 1, 2008
Posted @ 6:23 PM
This afternoon
The wind was howling... and it blew so hard that the windows kept going "Kong Kong Kong!", the 2-bamboos of towels hung out to dry were shaking vigourously also... I was so worried it might just fly off!
Then before I knew it, the next moment - it was gone!!
"OMG!" kept going through in my mind... what I was afraid of had happened! HAHA
I can't see the bamboos of towels by looking out from the window, only see one familiar towel on the roof of a walkway shelter, so went down to find the rest.
First thing found was my brother's pants. Then later saw the FIRST bamboo of towels at a distance.
I looked around... can't find the other one around the vicinity, so decided to go back, and saw it! Wa seh... it flew really far!! Then I had to carry all back.
SO PAI-SEH LAH! There's some aunties sitting at the chairs under the void deck, I quickly walk into the lift with the bamboos. ZZZ
Lucky there's no one else in the lift.
But when I came out, an uncle was beside the lift, and kept looking at me. AHH!!
I just had to walk briskly tagging with those stuff, praying that no one else would see me!!
Then it had to happen that I was seen by another uncle again.
By this time, I'm already used to it. -.-!
BUT! Had it had to happen again, I'll still feel pai-seh!
K lah... laugh all you want. I find it hilarious also. People bring in their clothes from outside of their flat, I bring it in from "downstairs". HAHA
Happy Birthday to Pei Shan tomorrow! comment (0)
