Went for the 10th episode of oktoLIVE! yesterdy 'cos it'll be an one-hour show from now on! Also, the guest for this episode is Mi Lu Bing!
This episode's filming is in studio 1, which is obviously bigger than the past studio that was used. With this space, there's so many things that can be put together to make the whole set looks great!
The one-hour slot and spacious studio makes the programme comfortable to watch! But. It'll be back to studio 5 next week again. Hai. Hope there's more chances for oktoLIVE! to be in a bigger studio... since the viewership is quite good. HEHE
Great job to our dear seniors behind-the-scenes. WOO!
This is our 'icon' of oktoLIVE! The Alfros! =x
Just look at this.
There's even a stage set for the performers!
And here's an 'umbrella' to soften the lighting
Here's Mi Lu Bing and their song 'Breathe'. You see... isn't it so much better to have this set?!
It was very funny to see all the backstage crew gathering behind the camera to watch the segment which the guests for the show had to do something which the audience had voted for. And for Mi Lu Bing, it was the black box (secret item), so Nick had to put his hands in to feel and guess what it was. Everyone exclamations and screamings made him nervous. HAHA It was snakefishes...
The inclusion of more segments made the show more fun!
(L to R: Sam, Nick, Weiqi)
Their 'LIVE' singing is good, a potential local band. I like their songs like 路 and 舍不得 in Golden Path, which is also recorded in their latest album 三角行, with other songs such as 无形的翅膀 and the song they performed on oktoLIVE - Breathe, worth listening to.
Reunion Dinner's (团圆饭) themesong - 新生活 is sung by them too!
I like BRODS and Soul from the 1st season of Superband too.
And Mi Lu Bing & Soul are performing at tonight's Channel 8 Countdown Show! YAY!
Kym is hosting the show too, and that makes it a double YAY! =x
Will be staying at home to watch the show though... 'cos the crowd that'll be at Vivo City will be scary. Unless you are on stage, if you are in the audience crowd, it'll be quite a problem seeing what's happening on stage. Well, for people of my height lah.
So the cameras that'll be at Vivo City doing 'LIVE' transmission to our TV at home will be my eyes for the whole event!
Oh, if any of you are interested in watching oktoLIVE! (every Tuesday @ 8.30pm) at the studio, inform me and I'll get the tickets for you.

Doing a conclusion for 2008,
School
- Class bonding is growing 'cos of the various opportunities to work together
- Learnt quite some things from experience working on oktoLIVE!
- Got to know more interesting leturers like Ping, Dioni, Christina...
- First time doing emcee for an event
- First time winning something in poly
- First time having to spend time in school on the very last day of the year
(Actually, it's half day for polytechnics as well, and tomorrow is a public holiday. So you see, shouldn't school might as well start next week? It'll be very appreciated if so. =x)
Personal
- I've been to the airport for 7 times this year, though none of it is my actual takeoff to other countries. Haha
- Worked in Turf Club (part time) @ legal age =x
- Lesser time with PHLS... but always an enjoyable one when with them
- 2nd Bro and family is back in SG after 6 years with a new member - little nephew
- Little nephew is a 'disturbance' to my time for leisure @ home, (haha) he's cute nevertheless
- My beloved semi-pro camera was lost
- A new digital camera was bought though
- Still am having some substantial time with family
- My idols are still my idols (never-changing) ^^
The day all of us stood still.
2008 has been great!
Well, on a larger scale, not so great.
Hoping 2009 will be better!
X'mas exchange with Jie Meis!

It's been such a long time since we last met! 3 -4 months?
WA. And I realised that we met up on the exact same date a year ago!
We dined at
While waiting for our food to come, it's time for photos!
An attempt by the both of them to look 'natural'.
An attempt by the both of them to look 'natural'.
As you can see, it failed. =x
They look alike when dressed like that!
Somehow I feel that HP look abit like PJ in this picture... Oh, and KF was insisting that LAST TIME HP was shorter than her. But well, KF, it was last time. MUAHA!
All our pressies ready!
Not a christian, but just the celebration of gift exchange since we haven't bought each other any birthday present since... I don't know when. But yeah. Doing something happy explains it all.
And the wishing cards given by me and RW, with my ridiculous drawing that sends everyone laughing... I drew apple that look like butt, a horn that look like key, a sumo that looks funny... Ok you get it. HAHA
Here's everyone with their pressies!
Here's everyone with their pressies!
RW and her panties from KF. *Opps that sounds wrong*
PS is 'eee-ing' about it (Didn't pose with her present!)
KF and her head massager from me
HP and her cuddling carrot looking soft toy from PB
PB and her red wine from PS
And here's all of us!
Well, PJ wasn't with us 'cos she's still in US! So the most we could do is to include her in our group photo!

Then came our food!
It was 'IBC rootbeer' on the menu, don't know 'bout the difference though
Mouth-watering eh? =x
We exchanged our food - chicken, beef, fish... all the different side dishes from potato salad, mashed potato, baked beans, fries to corn etc. It just feels like a family gathering!
KF trying to cut the corns for everyone 'cos no one is bothered to do so. HAHA
That's HP on the right being an 'innocent' victim of this shot

Our attempt in squeezing our double-chin out
PB and KF went off after dinner, so PS, KF, RW and I went to Plaza Sing...
But it was so packed with people, people and more people!

This is Monday, hello. But ok, it's the festive season, everyone's rushing to buy some presents.
The crowd was quite a put off for we merely wanted to stroll and walk around the place with ease, then we decided to go home!
Some shots taken while we take the bounce to Marina Bay.
Oh yay can see my inner double eyelid from this picture!

This weekend was a real busy one!
First up was Saturday, my cousin Jia Ying's 3-year-old birthday!
She's a real cutie.
Very smart and eloquent. She'd tell me how she was waiting at the window to see whether we had arrived, then she 'secretly' went to the door and wait for us, with all her actions to complement her narration. HAHA
She'd tell me not to let my nephew go on some other rides at the playground because he is still a baby, and he don't know how to. While I kept acknowledging to her 'advice', she kept repeating it over and over again from time to time... like a little old auntie. =x

This princess house was one of which her parents got her...
Dragon 'riders'
Every girl has a (big) dream
"Here's one for you! I'm sharing my birthday happiness with all!"
She is so showered with loads of love and happiness!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Today was my other cousin - Yi Jian's one-month old celebration.
He has got such smoothy-black hair, and his hair is auto-styled for the ocassion!
To add an interesting fact, Yi Jian
is my nephews' (Jin Hong & Jin Cheng) uncle (表舅), though one is 8 years old and the other is of the same age!
And my 8-year-old nephew (Jin Hong) addresses the 3-year-old cousin Jia Ying and cousin Ting Ting (same age as him) as auntie (表姨)!
Look at how shocked Yi Jian is.
