- Ryyan Spenser Ronald.
- Eldest Aunt
- 4th Aunt
Ryyan was a secondary school mate of mine. Though not on close terms with him, still, it is an unbelievable and shocking fact that he had passed away on 28 Nov 07 due to an accident, at the age of 18.
The first thing that came to my mind when his name was mentioned was his smile and his cheerful character.
When I was standing by his coffin with all my ex-classmates, tears started to flow uncontrollably despite myself trying hard to hold it back. It applies to everyone as well, even though I know he wouldn't want to see us in this state...
May he be blessed with happiness now... and hoping that as time passes by, it would gradually take away the pain due to his departure from his loved ones.
Ryyan's depature reminds me of my 2 beloved aunts - Eldest aunt & 4th aunt.
They were both very nice ladies, but eldest aunt was strickened with cancer for some years, and later passed on in March 2004.
My 4th aunt, on very close terms with my eldest aunt, was stricken with liver cancer in Sep, the same year. After a few weeks, she passed on too, in Oct 2004.
Very upsetting to have 2 relatives passing away in a year, and my Ah Gong grew very thin because of it... Ah Ma wasn't informed about it, as she was suffering from ammensia...
Many of us - the ex-classmates gathered due to Ryyan's funeral, which then triggered upon the question in my mind:
Do we have to wait till we encounter this sort of event that would then make us all "reunite"?
Sometimes, we merely took everyday for granted, took everyone's existence for granted, not noticing the fact that someday, it would never come or be able see the person again.
Cherish now... for the fact that you wouldn't regret when it doesn't happen the same way again.
They will always live in our hearts.
If only things could happen this way...

I've not been sleeping much lately... Sleeping at 4.40am & 11pm on Fri was my "earliest" and earliest respectively, for this week.
Man... projects kills.
But, scripting and web publishing is fun (and also demanding).
Learnt video editing using Apple computer on Fri, the results after the editing was so satisfying! And of course, during the process we had loads of laughters because of the still expressions, secret smiles, and NGs!
It was only a 1 minute + video, and we spent like 2 hours+ on it. Ahh... that's just for a start. I'm sure we can do it faster.
The fruits of our labour would be shown next week! Would try to take down the video and post it up here!
Digital Video Production is such a great module!! Involves storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing... it's a damn cool module and I love it even though a lot of effort have to be put in. It's all worth it! And I believe this is not the 1st time I'm praising this module HAHA
Adding to that, I wish I had an editing suite like in school's though it's only the basic one. Hopefully would be able to get in touch with the professional ones used in the industry in the near future!
Web Publishing has finally allowed me to use Dreamweaver, which is the professional way of creating a website to build my own webpage, and oh man, let me tell you, it's a real challenge, having to toggle between photoshop to beautify your image, and dreamweaver to place your images and do the typing etc.
In the end, finally managed to churn out my personal page which is a requirement for CA2. WHEW! After seeing others, oh man, theirs' are great! Can't say the same for mine though.
Anyway, these two are still very much interesting to me.
Oh yeah, while searching on the internet, found that Kym has got a blog! Despite not having a post yet, I believe it's her's 'cos there are links to Dasmond & Yi Fong's blog! Must be Dasmond who helped her to created it... haha Hopefully she would update it after her tour trip to China! =x comment (0)
Taken a shot of the sunlight outside the glass window
Had the HIV/AIDS awareness session today by Standard Chartered Bank to attend, initially thought it to be another boring talk with powerpoint slides etc.
BUT!
To my surprise, it was so fun!
We got to play games and the whole 1-hour session was so interactive and filled with laughters! Time pass so quickly when you are enjoying it! The facilitator was a caucasian - Miia. Her eyes are blue, and hair - blonde. A typical caucasian!
She's fun too!
Me & Leen was picked to play in the skit, Leen was the "White Blood Cell" and I'm the "HIV virus" (GOSH!)
We were supposed to play the "role" in a skit which is being read out by one of the seniors, then we act out accordingly... hahaha it was so hilarious and fun!
This was the "road" with "obstacles" to reach the ultimate "dream" that we have, and everyone had to have a try at it. Then since like 1/4 of us didn't volunteer to try it, 4 of us (me, jo, leen & wally) had to turn 10 rounds before walking across it!
Ahh... later Miia placed another "road" to let the others try.
The various colours indicate the different stages of life which we can prevent the contract of HIV/AIDS.
Very informative session through an interesting approach!
These were what we got after the end of the session. And the squeeze-able toy car is only for the "actors/actresses" who particpated in the skit! =x

comment (0)Of all the choices of MP3, or rather, MP4 I've posted earlier on, though not of any of the brands I listed, I've finally got one, with speakers too!
The speaker comes "free" with the purchase of the MP4! "Free" as in I had to buy it that day itself (Fri), but I didn't have enough cash with me, so the person suggested that he make a delivery to my house. No delivery charge involved! There's another speaker that comes free with it, but I wanted this one, so I topped up $3 to get it instead of $5 (he discounted for me!)
Oh, and I bet you can't believe the price at which I got it!
MP4 specs:
4 GB
2.2inch LCD
Headphone
USB cable
(act as both the charger and transfer of files [drag & drop] into MP4)
Disc for installation of program to convert videos into AVI format for MP4
1-year warranty
Can put in photos, music, videos... there's 2 games in it too, oh ya, the MP4 operates with the touch pad on the right with red lights.
The sound quality of both the speaker and MP4 are good.
It's so value-for-money!!
Try guessing the price! Highlight here for answer: "$132"
HAHA! I got it at the "pasar malam" held frequently around SP, in which this time round they came to business school, and moving on to CLS next week.
The DMS (digital media studio) had garskin on all the computer tables!!
This door stopper is cute!
The crew in action! And my foot in cramped condition... =x
My little cousin enjoying her ride on the 20-cent riding machine, and when she sees my other cousin on it, she kept going around it to explore...

This is how SP look like late at night...
The lift door got stuck and it just won't open at the 3rd storey...
HA! No lah... The lift door just won't open at 3rd storey, it's alright when its at other levels, It didn't happen at night though, it was yesterday evening when we were about to go home.
Went to BREEKS Cafe for lunch today with Jo, Leen and Aq @ CWP
My Baked Seafood Pasta Monray!
I'm the shortest, but the tallest here!
Happily sipping away my Classic Avocado!
Their service was very good, someone would shout "Guest in!"
and together they would "Hi, Welcome to BREEKS!"
When you are about to leave, someone would shout "Guest leaving!"
and in unison again, they would "Thanks, Bye, See you again!"
That's cool! The food are rather tasty too, though didn't really like my drink.
The ambience in the cafe was rather good, the red furnishings, furniture and lightings makes the cafe comfortable.
Ok ok, I'm like evaluating the cafe for IDEAS. -.-! Everyone seems to be poisoned by IDEAS.
Oh yeah, people, join Facebook! It's really fun with lots of games!
Join my army of Slayers, Werewolves, Vampires and Zombies! Join me as a pirate & fight with the ninjas! HAHA
Just tell me when you've joined it, and I'll invite you to join the games! comment (0)
Yesterday . 9 Nov 07
A successful outing for the 7 of us to get together again! The last time 7 of us got together was... the day before a new semester starts... which was... 22 Sep! Oh, no no, that was the Sentosa one, only 6. 24 July? 6 also...
ALL 7 of us was... 21 June, at Kbox!! Its so long ago that it was even before I started this blog, and I had to go search for the photos to know when was it!
@ our 老地方 since the primary school days...
As we chatted on, there were so many lame stuffs we did when we were young! Such as waiting outside the Timezone just for the Early Bird discount on the games... HAHA and we used to play basketball, when we are not playing, we played poker cards at basketball court. LOL
The plan initially was to go to Starbucks, but somehow, we ended up at RW's place. Looking through RW's "diaries" we wrote our particulars etc. in, we almost suffocate from laughters because of the silly things we wrote!! *Note: It's written in 2000.
Played some card games... heart attack, murderer... cheat, while waiting for HP to come join us after her work, and PS after her class. Here are the photos!
PB taking the advantage of the gap!!
The Legend 7! Taken before we went out of RW's room to go watch Ghost Whisperer.
Oh, and don't be mistaken by the clock behind, it's not working. =x
I forced them to take these pictures during the TV-watching period HAHA
RW doing some silly things again, and don't doubt, all the pictures with 7 of us in it are all taken with self-timer!
Me & PB slacking while the others were busy cooking stuff to eat =x
There they are! The hungry... err...
PS took this shot after she grasp the technique to use my camera
Full-body shots taken from a low angle are always great!
Tada! Last shot of the day!
On the way to the station with KF, I stepped on a cockroach accidentaly!! OH #%$@&!! So disgusted by it!! But its not dead, it moved scurriedly away after my crush. zzz. Not only is cockroach 打不死, it's also 踩不死!
Then we were so lucky to be the last ones that enters the Civic through the glass door before the security guard walking from the opposite direction initially, then later locks the door behind us!
Took a lot of photos actually, but picked some good ones to share it here. The photo on the navigation bar at the side is a different one too.
Hey hey, legend 7, I've sent the photos to you girls via yousendit!
Go check your e-mail and click on the link to download!
And yeah, its great to be around with all of you! ^0^
My enthusiasm in uploading the photos and updating blog has showed it all! HAHA

Anyway, didn't tried it before 'cos its always in a long queue... and didn't try it with wal, aq & leen 'cos already had lunch before test. They should introduce the fruit juice stall too! Its great!
