First time going out for recee on MCS heng bus.
I love taking bus/car rides... can see the scenery out of the window... and slowly eyes closing.
More interesting ones are like the go kart place, where the person was very eloquent and brought us around the track and all. An expensive sport I would say, but seems fun, it's something like driving, except that you don't need a license.
Then went to Lilliputt. Think you all would pronounce it as Lill'POOT' instead of Lilli'part' HAHA. It's an 18-hole indoor mini-golf game, with sound and motion effects when your ball goes from one place to another. I complete the
Was back in MCS by late afternoon... and after a couple of hours.
*LeeYan using computer*
"Why is the table shaking?" LeeYan ask.
"OMG, why is the table shaking?!" ShiR ask
*Everyone starts to exclaim*
*Everyone look out of our room and saw a lot of people in the office*
It's an unusual sight 'cos we thought the office usually is rather empty, but when we all felt the tremor, suddenly the office is filled with people. HAHA Maybe 'cos they were always 埋头苦干 that we didn't see them.
The people outside saw us looking out and started laughing and waved to us.
Then Jov and all start to comment on how calm my reaction was when I felt the tremor, and starts to imitate me "Why is the table shaking?" in a very poised manner. ZZZ
They start to on almost every TV in the office to catch the news on CNA. And so we waited for the news to be reported... (And I thought going to CNA studio to ask them might be faster HAHA)
It's such an interesting sight 'cos everyone crowd around the TV (hanging from above the ceiling) just to get a better knowledge of what happened.
Earthquake in southern side of Sumatra.
Police from the security side was called in to inform them about the tremor we felt, and it appears that only our building reported of feeling the tremor. >.
Flo, Ying & ShiR said it was their first time experiencing tremor which surprised me 'cos I experience it almost everytime there's an earthquake in Indonesia. Then I told them that those who live in Toa Payoh always feels it 'cos it's Da Ba Yao ("大把摇"). And Ying's reaction lagged and she started laughing non-stop when the joke was over. =x
And after that we were off from work, Kalai was about to take lift and we told her not to as "In case of emergency, do not take the lift". So she 'obeyed' us and went down by stairs, and we hurry to take the lift down and met her coming down the stairs where she exclaimed about us lying to her HAHAHA!
Also, now we know why LayH hates animals. =x

Happy Birthday to my nephew Jin Hong!~
Went to Adams Rd for lunch today. And I clumsily spilled my own sugar cane juice which I just bought. Went to return the trays to the auntie and buya new one, but the auntie was so nice to give me a new cup without charging me at all!
I also realised all the stalls there got an 'A' for their hygiene level!
Sent Jov City Beat's themesong and she played it. Almost all of us rapped or hummed to the tune LOL. It's just so our generation's show that everyone knows!
Cheng Ren De Xin Jie Zou! =x
Met up with PS and KF for movies after work, intending to spend away our free movie passes from Shaw (with lots of restrictions) , but ended up spending money for a The Ugly Truth which the passes couldn't be used on. Funny movie with lots of dirty jokes, and the female lead acted really well. HAHA
Oh, and I wanted to give my namecards excitedly to KF and PS, but ended up they ask for me for it first. LOL comment (0)
YES!! You didn't see it wrong. City Beat is having a come-back after SOOOO~ LONG!~
So many generations of City Beat was done, but none beat the original successful and best version with Bryan, Kym, Lina & Sharon!
But this time round, the four hosts are Bryan, Kym, Gurmit & Adrian!
All are great funny hilarious people!
I'm sure it will be a great show and am so looking forward to it!
My eyes widen when I read the news online, then the next thing I did was to exclaim everywhere to almost everyone! HAHAHA
Here's the song everyone! Come on! Sing along!

*AHHH!!!~*
That was our reaction when we heard our namecards arrived.
*Goes to each other*
"Oh hi! Nice to meet you, here is my namecard."
That was what we did in excitement of receiving our namecards, exchanging with each other. LOL
Cannot be blamed la huh, first time having our own namecards. HEHE
During the website meeting, C gave an example of how we can introduce ourselves interestingly:
"AHH! First time receiving my namecards!"
We all laughed when we heard that classic example 'cos we didn't know we were so loud that she heard us. HAHA!
We were on our way off from work and exiting from the radio gate... I was 'looking out for cars...' and as I waved my hands in front of my nose to sweep away the smoke emitting from the taxi, Jov thought I was waving to someone. And later on we did actually wave to someone, and it was Kym, driving into MCS! HA! comment (0)
Results - 3rd Year 1st Sem
Ha! Everyone was busy checking results when we reach the office today.
GPA was the best so far, same as first semester in year 2.
Cumulative ain't that high though.
ALLOWED TO CONTINUE IN THE COURSE.
Yay. Progress smoothly to 2nd semester!~

Saw famous chinese variety show producer A in her office. Whoa~... 'cos I love the shows she produce!

Our meeting was
Then rushed for Singapore Idol 'LIVE' broadcast in TV theatre with Flo & Ying while Jov went to meet up with Wals at the reception.
As we proceed to enter through the staff access, I saw Kym's car parked by the radio building! @.@!!
Observing how they operate with the cameras and the various crew member roles just made us appreciate their effort and professionalism so much, so much.

comment (0)Mum, 2nd bro and nephew is off to Aussie now.
It's MCS off day today.
And I'm off from work now.
Bye~! comment (0)
2nd Bro was back last Thurs and XiaoZhu allowed himself to be carried by him!
Surprisingly... after over a year of 'separation' from his Papa, the bond is still there. XiaoZhu seems blank when he saw 2nd bro... and when I prompted him to call 'Papa' a few times, he looked at 2nd bro and called 'Papa'! Heart-warming.
They hit off very well in just a short while.
And for the past several days we have been getting around and having local delicacies.
Tomorrow Mum will be flying off to Aussie with them. Half a year maybe.
I'll miss home-cooked food and them. comment (0)
Whoo! First day @ work.
Got my own mediacorp email account! And own computer, and shared extension line. May have namecards too.
Toured around the place... big place. Went to the storeroom where all the props are, explored the places where not many people can gain access to (e.g. wardrobe, make-up unit). More chances to do so in the near future. Great eye opener still even though it's second time touring around. Hehe
My eyes lit up when I saw Buzzing Cashier tapes on one of the desks!
HAHA Exciting to see what you always see on TV to be just around you... in the office where you are situated in, and the people behind these productions are all in the same big office as you. Wow!
Cracking heads for conceptualising.
I have to bring an umbrella tomorrow. comment (0)
Have been catching up with my jie meis and course mates the past few days...
With PS, KF & RW @ Kbox... we sing a WIDE range of songs from 往事只能回味 to 宝贝对不起 to 欢喜就好,一百万 (Hokkien songs) to 当 (HZGG's theme song HAHA! Very shiok song to K!) to Michael Jackson's, Jay Chou's, Stephanie Sun's... =x
Not enough time to K the classic oldies that we love!~
Oh, and coincidental enough, bumped into Jov's friends in the lift before going to Kbox, so Jov was going there for Kbox too!
my nephew came.
12 months. If I didn't look back at the past photos, I didn't know he grew so much. Seen him grew from a 'gong-gong' baby to a clever little kid. From a baby who can't sit properly, till he can, and can crawl with his body, then all fours, stand up, to walking. From knowing how to say A-ma, till neh-neh, hai yao (want more), gu-gu (aunt)... etc. From asking him to wink and he winks, shake his head and he shakes, nod his head and he nods till asking him to DA-DA (beat), NIE (pinch), CAI MA YI (step on ants i.e. a dance move which my aunt taught =x)...
Just hope he won't be so violent as he grew older. HAHA
Today is 9 Sep 09, and while I'm blogging 0909hrs 09 sec passed too. That makes it 6 9s, and makes up my horoscope sign too!
Rcently have been watching shows from everywhere and on everywhere... 新中港台 on TV, online, DVD. 新 for variety shows, 中 for Huan Zhu Ge Ge, 港 for Heart of Greed, 台 for Yi Nan Wang. =x Time is running out! So I got to chiong to finish them!~ comment (0)
We went into the air conditioned space to watch some videos of some of the military machinery our is equipped with...
It was raining, so that was the only thing we could do there. Waited for quite some time... but rain still didn't stop. There was the sign pointing which supposedly was to guide us to the 'Combat World' but we ended up at the shuttle bus stop to go to Boon Lay MRT. We missed one bus... and until the other one came, rain has stopped. I would really have wanted to go back there to tour around those huge tanks and helicopters or try out those laser shooting...
Look, we went to JP's Kopitiam for lunch and there was this 'pager' which you bring to your seat after you've bought your food, wait for it to vibrate and have red lights flashing, then you know that your food is ready for collection!
We were supposedly going to Marina Barrage... but they say the weather... so watched movie instead, and the whole day was bright and sunny after the morning's downpour.
On the way there, Sam mentioned about Taiwan 4.30pm shows... she cannot tahan, then Ying2 and I exclaimed about how much we like it. LOL! And it moved on to My Fair Princess (环珠格格) which we all exclaimed together that WE LOVE IT, and we started humming the tune... describing the characters that we like... I like Xiao Yan Zi & Wu A Ge! I believe that's the pair which most (or all) love!~ haha it made us all feel like watching it over again! Haha. It's no surprise 'cos that was really a hot favourite drama during that time. I still could recall that I borrowed the VCD from KF and my family and I watched one disc after another, even during dinner. =x
Don't be mistaken, this has nothing to do with ION. It's just the clouds that I found to look special and snap it down.
Finally got to walk around ION. Jov brought me around the place like a tour guide that also discover new shops there. =x The place is confusing to walk around... it doesn't take you from one place to the other on every level or every escalator. The higher you go, the lesser the people 'cos it's all atas shops, closed doors, with security guards, intimidating.
Hard to find affordable food around there, even the food in food court are expensive. Till I get more money... will try out some food there.
Settled down at Mac for lunch and watched Jov, Leen & Wals their spec. dip. film
Felt nostalgic when I saw how they celebrated the occasion as a whole school... though the emcees were practically reading off the script.
Mr Choh was busy catching up with other students so I decided to find others first. Finally saw Mrs Leau 'cos she had been on maternity leave for the past 2 years when I went back, and I told her don't be on maternity leave this year again. =x She speaks cutely, like talking to primary school kid. HA! Also met Mdm Boey.
Oh, then later on, didn't get to see Mr Choh, and z.yan needs to go off already. So off we went.
Met up with Mum for lunch and met up with PS to go primary school. Busy busy. HOHO.
Didn't have to call for teacher to bring us in anymore. Just had to sign in at the security post. Toured around... everything is just unlike the old building which we studied in. So new, but no home-ly feeling. PS couldn't tahan the noise level. Imagine we were all contributed to the 'noise pollution' when we were at their age. It can be comparable to arcade centres. HA!
It was indescribable for PS when she saw Mr Ang. HAHA. KF wants to see him too, to see how much he has changed since the time when he was a trainee
PS and I still had a long~~ time before evening to meet KF for The Proposal. So went to check out what movie we could catch to kill time. Decided on Up, and realised a whole lot of secondary school students surrounded us in the cinema.
Up is a very children type of movie... full of imagination, which won't happen, nevertheless, it was rather cute and funny. But Fredricksen grew old so quickly with Ellie that I thought he was just imagining things to happen between the both of them. Sometimes we just need to let ourselves return to the childhood times when we were all still naive, and let things seem simple.
We were on our way up to the cinema when we met PB who is rushing~... but we had to chat awhile and take a picture for this moment, so TADA!
The Proposal was quite good, considering the fact that you are looking for a movie that will make you laugh. The two actors had great acting, especially Sandra Bullock, I laughed non-stop when she do the 'dance' with the grandma! The minor characters played their role well in their expressions of "Aww..." HAHA
But we all felt that there wasn't enough details about the male (Andrew) and female (Margaret) lead's relationship get along... The ending when the credits was rolling was kinda 'err... huh?'
And... there was a camera angle which I found weird... was when Andrew was chatting with his ex-girlfriend, then the ex-girlfriend look over his shoulder to acknowledge Margaret. The next shot was a side MLS of the three of them when I thought it was to be a CU, because Margaret was also looking at them, not looking elsewhere. (._.?) Anyone has any idea what I'm talking about? Haha. Never mind.
The movie is still worth watching!
