First up!
Wals saw GS DVD at HMV yesterday.
He called me, so I told him to help me buy first.
And I got it today!
Second!
I've been catching the encore telecast of Comedy Night a.k.a. 搞笑行动 produced in 1999 or 2000 which Kym hosted with the J-team.
And this morning's episode has the City Beat hosts making guest apppearance!
Third!
Already made plans to go to the airport to fetch my parents who came back from Aust after a week (dad) and 1 half months (mum) there.
But due to staying back in school pia-ing the you-know-what report... I was kinda off from the time to reach airport.
I didn't tell them that I would fetch them at the airport... so they wouldn't be expecting me, and if they go off... it'll be so...! Let me begin to narrate the journey to the world class airport! =x
Along the way, I kept wishing the train would go faster... till Tanah Merah interchange where waiting for the train to go to airport is a long~ wait.
AHH! By that time it was already 10pm, and their plane reach at 9.45pm.
Finally it reached... I climbed the way up the escalator.
The first escalator was alright.
The second one leading to T3 was SO~ long! I climbed until~
Then had to walk to the sky train to go to T1.
The walk is quite long also... at that time I was thinking, why is Singapore airport SO BIG?!
Sky train was waiting there so I ran in.
Fasten my pace to go down to the arrival hall.
Checked their plane arrival at the information screen.
After waiting for a while, I saw them!
How timely! HAHA
They were looking out to the exit... and I waved to them!
They stared for like 5 seconds before they recognise and react to wave back to me! LOL
Am I glad to see them... them too. :)!!
Mum wasn't aware what she brought back was mostly branded... D & G, Chanel, Billabong, CK... and she was *DUI-ing* (regretting) not buying a few more. Haha...
These were the stuff for me from Aust!
The sunglass was from 2nd sister-in-law, cap from 2nd bro, ang-pao from both of them, shoes & chocs from dad and mum!
LOVE them!! :)
Oh, and Mum was scratching herself like a monkey and bear (wriggling her back against the back of the chair) 'cos of the dry skin caused by the change of weather from Aust to SG. And she told me she was faced with the same problem from SG to Aust as well. LOL comment (0)
Happy Birthday to 3rd Bro!
The birthday (big) boy (man) buy his own cake and I celebrate with him... 'cos Big bro was out.
How lonely right...
Anyway, luckily I was around to celebrate with him =x
Oh, and having to blog at such a time (1.30am, 26 Jul) was because I've just cleaned up another room (which is sort of my room) and the living room and also the kitchen area...
Had done quite a lot of tidying up since like 3 weeks ago because the sight of the mess in my wardrobe was intolerable... (though I tolerated for quite some time already). =x
Was actually quite motivated by Supreme Matron 'cos of the shocking lot of mess seen in other people's home... making me think that mine wasn't as bad, but it also allow me to realise that mine wasn't comparable to their's after they've done all the cleaning up.
Ok. It feels great to see a clean and tidy place.
But when it gets tidy and empty, you'll start to put things on it because of the space and convenience... and it will accumulate... to become like what it was before. Haha... comment (0)
Not exactly... 2 brothers are with me here.
Dad is also in Aust currently, that makes it the first... no, second time that Dad and Mum are both in Aust. The previous time was to attend 2nd Bro's graduation.
Hopefully Mum would be happy that Dad is there already, since it was actually an earlier date that Dad should be there... making Mum thought that Dad was joking of his inability to get a ticket to Aust (which was actually a true-blue fact that tickets to Aust was HOT on demand, and Dad actually had to went to Johor to get one)
Aiya... part of Dad's responsibility also lah... He thought he could just get a ticket whenever he wants (like how Mum did when she got her's), but it didn't turn out that way. So... it was all a beautiful misunderstanding. =x
2nd Bro wants us to get some local productions' DVD for him, managed to get a few. (Bro, if you are seeing this, I seriously recommend I Not Stupid Too! You watch it and you'll know why.)
And I got to know about the release of Gone Shopping DVD on Monday through the magazine, so thought I could get it yesterday and let Dad bring it to Aust today, BUT, I couldn't find it. Seems like it isn't in stores yet... Aiya...
Can't wait to get it soon 'cos I've been waiting for it's release! comment (0)
After close to a month of outside food day in day out...
Finally I've got my long awaited home cooked meal today!
Dad actually took leave for his plan to go to Aust, but was hindered by the fact that there wasn't any available flights to Aust at this period.
So he is home today and cooked some dishes, though simple, yet so tasty! And there's my favourite Si Chuan vegetable soup too!
And I'm so glad 'cos I'll still be enjoying more home cooked meals to come in the next few days!
Wah... It's so a fortunate to have home cooked meals... so much more desirable than outside food
'cos I've got sick of chicken rice, duck rice, pig's organ soup, kway chap, even nasi briyani...
and with Dad at home, there's so many food! Bah Kwa, durians, soft drinks... Dad kept tempting me by saying "You want the Bah Kwa~?" "Liu Lian~?" "Qi Shui~?" in a mimick tone of ang moh. HAHA He always speaks in this way... and I will reply in the same way also =x
Ahh... I don't know when will Mum be back... it's been a month already... and to think that Dad will be joining her in Aust soon, that will leave only me and my brothers in Singapore for at least a week... another week of packed dinner.
Oh and I had learnt so much from the Law module I have... the rights that you are entitled to as a consumer, what you can or cannot sue. (EG. Goods sold are not refundable/exchangeable) cannot actually work under certain situations.
"See you in court." LOL
Happy Birthday Puay Bing! comment (0)
The party was at Sentosa Silosa beach, can you imagine that quite a big area of the Siloso beach is reserved for us for this event? And Cafe del mar was entirely booked by Oops! too.
6000 bottles of Coke Zero was sponsored.
(It's of course far more than what you see here)
It looks very big on my hand huh?
NUM tanks for the crew sponsored.
There's like only a word to sum it all up - awesome!!
We saw this peacock on the way to Siloso
We've got this air inflated volleyball court and it spells BOUNCE all over!
It's so much fun to be jumping and bouncing about on it. HAHA
Oh, and have I mentioned? There are bands performing too!
They are local english bands
This is Deputy Siren
We even took picture with them while we doing our duty for the staff entrance as they came to get tagged!
The staff entrance is a place where you get to meet different sorts of people... Most of them are not locals. Some are pissed off, exasperated, some are fun, cool people when you tell them that "the cafe is closed for a private event, so it's not open to the public."
There's one who pointed middle finger with his back facing us.
There's a big guy who behaved very cool and funny in the way he speaks, and confirm & re-assure with us that the cafe would be open the next day when he pass by and came in the second time.
There's people asking us where to buy volleyball, where to rent bikes, where's sapphire pavilion... thinking that it was the information counter they are asking at. Haha...
Some poses to end the day off!
Cass and Trix look so drunk and... ok, but they are not.
Oops! is ever so happening... and it's all because of every person behind the scene and everyone participating!
Whoo! Let us look forward to the next party!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Then I had to leave early for Grandma's birthday.
And so there you go... My 86 year-old Ah Ma with Ah Gong
Happy Birthday Ah Ma!
comment (0)The lesson for today was shifted to Tuesday, so today is an off day for most of us!
Slept at 9pm + yesterday, and was woke up by sms-es, calls, construction noises in between...
haha... but had a really good sleep!
There was the Oops! magazine launch on Tuesday, and they brought in an Uncle Ringo ride into the school as well as part of the launch event!
We all had a ride on it and it was fun! Imagine having such a thing in school, cool ain't it?
It costs $1,500 renting it for a day!
Here's a video of it of me and Pri taking it:
In case you can't hear properly,
Jov: LeeYan wave! You want to say your last words?
*Laughters*
Me: Come join me!
Jov: Oi! Choy!~
Aq: Like "Welcome To My Life" (Our video production last semester)
Jov: That thing, the thing look very scary, like not safe like that one, that screw thing...
Aq & Leen: It's like that what.... It's like that one
Jov: All the best!
I screamed with delight "WHOOO!"
Leen: Who scream ar?
Jov: LeeYan lah, so loud!
Leen: I thought Priya
Jov: Aiyo they still can chat ar?!
*Laughters*
Jov: Eh want Earl Grey Tea and Cheesecake or not?
*Laughters*
Me: I want Chinese Tea!~
Jov: *laugh* Always want Chinese Tea!
Pri: My leg strap came off!
Wals: Your legs what?
Pri: The strap CAME OFF!~~
(I was telling her they (Oops! people) say never mind one)
*LAUGHTERS*
*Leen laugh uncontrollably*
*Pri scream*
Pri: The strap came off!
Jov: What happen (x3)
Leen: I don't know, I can't hear her
(Aq & Wals telling Jov)
Jov: Never tie the strap one ar?!
Leen: I also never what
Aq: Got tie but it will come out by itself one
Jov: Oh you mean, oh the leg ar...
And when the others were on it and screamed, we were busy laughing away! LOL
Friends, you call that. HAHA
-----------------------------------------------------
It never fail to put me to sleep every Wed during GEMS class...
I'm always nodding to sleep... Haha
Ahh, and though I slept for a few hours on Wed night, I didn't feel as sleepy on Thurs as I was during other days when I had more hours of sleep... weird.
But on the bus ride home, it was raining so heavily. And I didn't bring an umbrella.
So deicided to let it to take a de-tour where I'll be alighting at the opposite bus stop and be sheltered from the rain. Then I started nodding off to sleep again...
Haha... I didn't miss my stop though, and by the time I reached, the rain is already stopping.

Happy Birthday Aqmar!

comment (0)Today marks the one year anniversary of my blog!
Wow... I can't believe I've maintained a blog that long for I've blogged in the past before and only maintained for months, or weeks for the past 2 blogs...
And for this, I'm quite determined to carry it on, 'cos I've found the sense of enjoyment in blogging!
Text + pictures + readable font size makes a blog an eye pleasing thing to read.
Let's look out for my post of "It's been 2 years" next year on the same date! comment (0)
*Updated* @ 12.44am 6 July
I'm 18 no more!
And like what kf said, at this age, 二十块钱还有的找. (You still get change for $20)
And it's the age that I can last have starting with 1!
Had the intention to stay up till when the clock strikes 12am, signifying the arrival of 5 July... but continued to slept on although I set an alarm to get myself to wake up to watch a horror show on TV.
However not, I was woke up by several SMS-es wishing me Happy Birthday! at midnight.
Gee... thanks so much people!
Dinner @
My favourite dish!
and some BBQ spread
My 3rd bro & Eldest bro
One of the creators of me! The other creator is still in Aust. =x
Why am I laughing so happily? HAHA...
Thanks everyone for making my birthday such an event to celebrate!
Thanks to Mum & Dad... for 19 years ago, on this day, I was born!
To experience the sharing of happiness with so many people, and loving you all!

comment (0)The only class I had for today turns out to be very Eng Eng Ceng Ceng (free and easy) as we go around experimenting on our poor victims. Haha...
I guess that's what school is all about. Having fun at times makes a student life lively and interesting, of course, we feel the fun because there's the presence of BORED-ness. =x
And finally, we've got some FULL-class photo taken!
First up, a formal shot!
Candid shot!
Kwa-ii trying to figure out how to make out a heart shape with her tiny hands =x
Just see how many people are teaching her!! HAHAHA
Some number hints here! =x
We also had a Coke VS Pepsi differentiation test.
And I could differentiate it! The very first taste on Pepsi and Coke respectively immediately tells the difference.
Try it!
Then got pretty busy after that, rushing here and there ('cos everyone is short of time) for the photo-taking of storyboard.
Then after that rushed to meet my auntie to buy some stuff to send to Australia before the post office close for the day. Mum actually called back but couldn't find me... so she contacted auntie to get to me instead. Guess she has been calling at the wrong time - when I'm not home yet...
And wah... only a few light-weighted items and the air-mailing costs $30+! Mum should have bought and bring it over to Aust.Cream and lotions can only be sent by ship, which would take 8-10 weeks, so forget about it. See if Dad is able to bring it over during his trip to Aust.
