Woah woah woah.
I watch it develop, grow and finally the birth of oktoLIVE! [ 28 Oct 08 ]

In production, the job of an audience is the easiest.
The job of the backstage crew are the toughest.
And to witness it all happen and being put up on the national stage, it's immense satisfaction. Satisfaction is of a different level when you watch it from the eyes of an audience and from the eyes of a production crew.
The feel of a LIVE! show is so intense and fast paced, it's amazing. Especially when you are in the studio experiencing it.
If you watched the show and find that it's good, tell others. If you find it bad, tell us.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my shoutout and watched the show!
And applause to all the crew members, great work and keep it up! WOOHOO!

Some of you might know, some of you might not.
So let me announce it...
*drumroll*
I'm part of the oktoLIVE! production team, which consist of the SP Media & Communication Yr 2s & Yr 3s (Yr 3s doing it as their internship) students!
Right from 29 Aug that we got this news, we begun work on 1 Sep right till... well, a production process doesn't end till the entire show comes to a finale! It was brainstorming... brainstorming... more brainstorming... audition... collation... collation... (approval... rejection...) x (leeyan knows how many times) AND.
(Straight to my point) The show will begin on 28 Oct, every Tuesday @ 8.30pm on the new okto channel!
oktoLIVE! is a 'live' telecast magazine show by the youths (obviously *winks*) us, for the youths, and of course those who are young at heart! (Click on 'oktoLIVE!' for more information)
And also, you can join our Facebook group! Some of you have already been invited by me... MUAHAHA. Adding on, you can add the okto team as friends here! Those who are not, go join it now to show your support to the show... if not, me! HAHA
So, as I have said... we are the people behind-the-scenes, so don't expect us to appear in the show. =x But I'll be going there as audience for the FIRST episode as part of TVSM module field trip. (So maybe you can try spotting me =x)

4 of my classmates were up on stage for the talentime finals today!
And they sang and played the instrument well!
Besides them, there's still a few more that I know who are also in the finals! Speak about talents! I have friends around me who are talented in their own aspect, and that's great because I feel proud of them!
Though the ones whom that have my utmost support *wink* (You all know who you are, the 4, yeah) didn't win, but you all are winners in my heart! YAY! Congrats for making into the finals and delivering us a great performance for the evening!

魔杰座 a.k.a. Capricorn Jay
Got 3rd bro to pre-purchase Jay's album and finally can collect it today! Got the one with metal casing.
The design of the album cover is just so cool! And the free gifts are customised Jay's rubik's cube and poker cards! As you can see, he's only on the 'J' and 'Joker' cards! Everything is so uniquely designed!
给我一首歌的时间's MV has nice transitions but it doesn't tell any story between the male & female lead... 魔术先生 (Mr. Magic) has 牛仔很忙's (Busy cowboy) style, but 魔术先生 has the circus feel, rather cute. And I realise he has lesser rapping for the songs in this album, mostly are slow-paced songs.
I like 稻香's (Wheat scent) and 时光机 (Time machine) ^.^!

Yeah. Today.
To start school at a 8am - 6pm schedule is so blue!
And having to realise that I have to walk back and forth 3 times from the station to the hilltop on Mondays because of the classroom arrangement for the modules is even more sick.
As I was hoping to start school on a happy note, thinking that the first day of a 2nd semester wouldn't be that much to expect in terms of the work load... I was so wrong.
Almost every lecturer begins the module overview and the learning takes place!
ARGH. I'd rather they asked us to do introduction of ourselves (although we've been doing it for so many times).
I was already falling asleep during the lecture after lunch man. It was only 2 in the afternoon. Adding on to that is assignment and survey to be done online on the first day of school! Can you believe that? FIRST DAY!
*UPDATE*
There is notes for the above module I'm talking about! YAY!
Tuesdays are 8am - 5pm on my schedule.

Guess that's what to expect for I've got a looser schedule during the later part of the week, which, to the extent that I've only got one lecture (1 hour) on Fridays, but I've to spend an hour for preparation and 2 hours on travelling to and from school!
Well well. That's student's life.
It's still great to be back together in a class again.

Hiked our way up to the Henderson Waves yesterday and completed a total of about 3km walk easily. Yeah, all of us!

Little Jia Ying drags third uncle-in-law to take a picture, which was all a surprise to us because she doesn't really fetish over photo-taking, needless to say initiate for a photo being taken. Haha
And here we are, at the Henderson Waves!

And here they are, making themselves so comfortable!
Little Jia Ying is really fit! She could walk like at least half of what we completed! At times she wanted me to carry her... wa... I tell you, tiring. So I just play game with her, "bad man is behind! Faster run!" Then she'll drag my hand and run run run... then all the way screaming "坏人来了! 坏人来了! 坏人在后面!" LOL!
A more visible "wave" view that I could took at the bridge itself... it wasn't as beautiful as I though it would looked, 'cos the ones portrayed on TV and newspaper was so colourful. Maybe they can consider adding colours to it? (Or is it not yet completed with the painting?)
