...soon

Finally after 4 - 5 weeks of preparation for the pitch, it's over yesterday!
Many of our course mates were crowding around looking at us from head to toe when we were in a line waiting to be cued in to The Floor for the pitch, even feeling the stress that we are feeling.
We are the first group. Thanks to me for drawing the lot. HA!
During the pitch, being the first to present, I knew I was prone to saying Welcome..., and so I did. ZZZ. It was even more pressurising during the presentation with most of the 7 assessors (assassins) showing solemn faces throughout. Until the point which I showed them a video, I finally thought to myself, "I'm finally soon reaching the end of my part of the presentation!!" HAHA.
Got shot at, arrowed at from all directions especially from the bull's eye position. =x
Everyone was asking, "How was it? How was it?" when we came out.
"*sigh* Shoot! lor..." Haha.
Thanks to dear team mates - Jov, Leen, Aq, Wals, P.yaya for working hard all these while!
Let's do our best for the campaign!
Though everyone wasn't feeling too good after the pitch... but we cured that fast by taking lots of photos! hehe. It's rare of us to be dressed so formally, so of course we had to take every chance and opportunity to capture this moment!
XXXPOSED! was our campaign name, as some of you may know, we are doing on the topic of online pornography.
And 'YOUths' are our Target Audience!
We just look great with the colour combination isn't it? =x
Had to bother people to take full body shots for us.
Air stewardess, business woman... various descriptions from the others. HA!
Here are the individual shots with each team member!
Was asked to put down my hair so as to coordinate with Leen. =x
Reliving the memories of chinese dance performing the 'thousand-buddha-hands'!
This is like a corporation's board of directors photo. HAHA
And this is my 2nd photographic idea!
I look like a chinese restaurant waitress without the blazer... everybody feels so. LOL but everyone loves my boots! Though the tilted angle was high enough to stretch the pain on my foot!
Also, noticed that SMRT staff changed their uniform to red on the very same day as well when I boarded the bus in the morning... and we went for pizza at Clementi after the pitch, we looked at the SMRT staff in the control station, they also saw us of course (who wouldn't?) and they were talking among themselves smilling and laughing =x
We looked like we a group of SMRT staff off from our shift. LOL

comment (0)I realised I've been watching so little TV for the past couple of weeks that I've lost track of what are the upcoming shows and what are some that are showing.
This can't go on 'cos I want to watch The Ultimatum!
Time flies when it's school term.
Hai. Until when the pitch is over next Friday... I long for that to be over and totally immerse in the joy of my next weekend!
Hanging on. comment (0)
One step closer!

comment (0)This whole week while busy with Final Year Project (FYP), I'm also struggling with that nose and ear blockage. I'm just being stubborn about seeing a doctor... But it seemed to be better today already... for I had regained like half of my sense of smell, it's so good to be able to smell again.
It was Mothers' Day celebration over at grandma's last Sunday... will post up pictures soon.
And big bro's birthday on Tuesday... Mum's birthday, today.
Happy Birthday MUMMY!
Went to Infinite Frameworks today as part of our 'prize' for winning the anti-piracy video competition the other time. And wow was it cool to listen to Freddie sharing his experience and of how some visual effects were created and after adding some after effects, it was a totally amazing presentation of visuals! Like if you had seen on TV, the dark clouds gather and formed an oncoming storm scene, it was actually created out of, you-know-what? Dettol!
When you pour Dettol into water, it will form 'clouds' right? Yes, that's where it came from!
*APPLAUSE* for the creative brain juices man.
And I would so love to meet the big names he mentioned!
Had a tour around the place, and wow was it big! It's so far the biggest production house I've seen... with quite some real neat equipment.
Oh, and while we were all in the same room together with some people opposite us, we only realised that it was SP's VP and his wife and daughter - Su Hui! She was a very candid person and nice to talk to, haha, unlike how we would expect someone from her background to be of. We should stop sterotyping. HAHA
Later on went to watch the Sheng Siong Show at the studios with Dad, was hoping Mum could come along but no one else is at home to help look after nephew. His first comment was: "Her (Kym's) shoes are at least 6-inch high." HAHA
Anyway, it was the first episode back to opening to the public into the studio after the temporary closure due to H1N1 precautions.
Was there a bit late to secure some good seats, so had to compromise with sitting at a place with good view but further back. Was a few rows behind the person 'William' who shouted to Kym. =x Kym was wanting to hit Dasmond for him mentioning about her sexy back dressing. HAHA
Jeff''s singing was good. ^.^
And, how great was it to have a car park outside the studio and just go home in it straight after a show? Very great ok. Compared to having to walk out all the way, cross the overhead bridge, wait for a bus, change to take MRT, then feeder bus to reach home. All that are simplified with a car. HAHA
Dinner... or rather, supper was satay! I requested it, to share with Mummy since it was her birthday and we haven't done much to celebrate for her. And yesterday I bought her favourite rojak. If I'm not wrong I did the same thing last year too. =x But don't know if it was the same person selling... though we still slurp the $5 worth all up. HEH. comment (0)
Was supposed to meet up my jie meis for Kbox today... but had to give it a miss 'cos I'm still down with the stupid flu.
ARGH.
Oh, and Kai won 2nd for her competition! Congrats! comment (0)

It's party again with Oops! magazine 4th issue launch @ Zouk!
Went for every Oops! launch party, first 3 times (2 times at club, 1 time at beach) didn't had to queue 'cos we were the helpers, and this time, we didn't had to queue again 'cos they had standard procedures in admitting the guests with the introduction of tickets. Had to pay though, but of course was much cheaper if you had gone on normal days, and we are entitled to 2 drinks each too! No alcohol of course, it's a school event.
CASS director and SP principal was present too.
Fashion showcase, dance, rap, sing performances... and lastly dance party for everyone!
First part of the clubbing was fun and rocked the house! Later on wasn't that enjoyable with all the shoving of people moving here and there, and some guys are simply disgusting to make use of this chance to 'enjoy' themselves with the girls. Clubbing ain't that advantageous for everyone.
Didn't take many photos 'cos it's a hassle to carry the camera while moving to the beat, wonder how P.yaya do so with her handbag. HAHA
Club party this time was much enjoyable than the previous times 'cos we have no 'burden' as the helper and could totally immerse ourselves as guests in the party! Jov, Leen and P.yaya stayed overnight outside. I went home. I'm a good girl. =x
Happened to see primary school mate Kev. Bad memory he has. Only reaslised that 'I'm someone familiar' after I was looking at him for a few seconds. He tried to initiate a primary school gathering the other time through email but none of us (PHLS) responded though. HAHA!
Didn't know that the bus stop to go back was just turn after some walking out of Zouk... turned one BIG round to realised that after contacting Sam(F).
Was supposed to go support for Kai's competition today, but sneezing has gotten worse after Zouk... argh.
Wish her all the best! comment (0)
But when one voices out for oneself at the expense of the other, is it right?
Can human be referred to as a commodity?
Perhaps so.
Whether one is or not, does it matter?
Or perhaps it matters whether one is a commodity that is useful, or one is a commodity being used.
Then again, how many can differentiate?

Class population is decreasing.
No matter what, being an onlooker and a third party,
I will just listen.
be more gracious towards each other,
for all we know,
we are all at least acquiantances.
*Side track:
Thanks a lot to all who have commented & gave encouragements for Kym in the SA 09 entry!
Was supposed to go watch Sheng Siong Show in the studio today with Dad's friend's tix, but it so happened that due to the Swine Flu incident, there will be no audience admission for the show... Hmm. No audience. A show without audience will be quite difficult. Tonight! I have confidence in the hosts! ^. ^
Oh, in addition to that, received an SMS yesterday from SP asking us to bring thermometer too. Had to go dig out mine... if not I doubt I'll be able to get one in any pharmacy 'cos the news had been reporting that thermometers and masks are out of stock for many stores.
Just a hypothetical question, if the government had taken such measures a week before... what will happen to Star Awards?
Hopefully the Swine Flu outbreak will be curbed soon... comment (0)
