Caught some parts of 《Making the Cut》 just now, which Jov and Leen had a part in (you can see their faces). I was laughing away because of their so dead serious expressions! LOL It's nice to watch though... 'cos it's very reality TV. And it was a good platform for young people like us!
This was the show I mentioned about in one of the posts some months back, I was supposed to remind you all to watch! But was too busy recently... it slipped my mind!

Ahh. But well, I'll make sure you see it. =x

I see subtitles throughout the show... Chinese subtitles for a chinese programme that is. So you can see some of my kantang or maybe half-cooked kantang course mates. Haha.

Been filming and editing for TVSM the past couple of days... topic is on paranormal sites in SP. Hopefully it will turn out good when everything is pieced together then I could post it up here and show you all. But even if it's not good, I'll still post it up. HAHA That's how nauseating I am. =x

After weeks of laughing and enjoying《Reunion Dinner》, finally it's my turn for reunion dinner!

Here's some snippets from the classic episode of Kym's in Reunion Dinner! =x


*STANDING OVATION*
*A ROUND OF APPLAUSE*
That slapping tummy scene is so out-of-the-world. =x
(That was her real tummy by the way. But now it's no more!~ Catch her fitness in another upcoming drama - 乒乓圆 a.k.a. Table of Glory, where she'll be playing as an ex-national table-tennis player!)

Some funny quotes:
- When FangFang says that Daxiong ask her to lock the window grills because he still cares about Nana, Nana said: "他是怕我跌死，没人帮他还屋债!" (He's afraid he can't pay the loan if I fall to my death)
*so paranoid! HAHA

- When FangFang said that if this was a TV series, people would want to stay tune to see if she and Daxiong ends up together in the end, Nana said: "你以为我是阿姐..." (I'm not an A-jie...)
*She is one~~

A very light-hearted and close-to-heart drama with the lines put in the script cleverly to portray some real-life happenings.


YAY! Gonna have the real reunion dinner today & be enjoying the Countdown to LNY 'cos there's my favourite hosts hosting!

Had our dinner @ Ichiban last Sunday, which is our belated celebration and first meet-up with PJ after she came back from US, and later on gave sort of a surprise for her with a birthday cake we bought earlier.

Gifts from PJ! There was supposed to be the Lil' Donald Duck keychain too... Rw took it out to pose with when taking photo... and it was left at her house.

Then while we were feeling so bored at RW's house, PJ suggested playing the Guitar Hero!

WA BIANG!~

Exam timetable is out, one of it starts in the evening and ends at 8.10pm, and it's on a Friday!

AHHH!!!~

We are so loaded this CNY. Not $$$, but school work.
Please change back the usual school term we used to have... with e-learning week, 10 straight weeks of holidays, and a not so loaded CNY!

But on a happier note, last exam ends on a Tuesday morning, and after that it's officially HOLIDAYS!

I can't wait for that.

Life in SP... Media and Communication course (DMC)

Check out all my labels under: SP, and you'll see how has life been in SP for me!

Initially didn't thought that tertiary education would be as fun as in secondary school because you don't get the whole campus involved in a celebration of some occasion, but it turned out to be fun too!

The fun part I guess is because I've been mixing around with a good bunch of people who also influence me to be like that, motivates me to be involved in all kinds of activities and enjoying them all!

Last time I dread school re-opening, now, ok yes of course who wouldn't hope for holidays to be longer? But I don't feel as unwilling to go to school as when I was in secondary school time. There's something to look forward to... the people.

Assignments, projects, tests, exams can be taxing... but it's all part of which we had to go through in education, and we've been through it for so many years, what's new right? Haha! Stress... maybe only during the project/exam peak period, but there's always time for crapping around! Yeah!

But somehow, I feel that I've come into an amazing course. Why? 'Cos this course teaches so many stuff! From Production to Business to PR to Advertising to Design to Law to Events Management to Mass Media Research... that is like WHOA!

As you can see, I'm like taking a multi-course-in-one!
I didn't know this was what was in lined for me when I joined this course. I joined it mainly out of interest. After going through all these, I felt that I've learnt a lot. There's a lot of opportunities in future career besides the one that I'm aiming for (production). It made me think again when sometimes I felt that the things to be learnt are so overwhelming, that such diversified learning is very beneficial and practical in fact!

And to be honest, I've never regretted joining this course. A lot of reasons to it...

the friends I've made,
the ever-so-nice lecturers around,
the independence and freedom,
diversified learning...

Also, I'm glad where I am now because it was my aim since Sec 1... to be in SP, taking this course... which I achieved! That's like similar to a kid wishing he/she would be a police/lawyer/doctor when he/she grows up! =x

My heart-felt comments... which I now pour it all out in one post! ^_^!

No School today! 'cos the only lecture that I had on Fridays was cancelled due to the busy buzzy of the (all) lecturer(s) involved.

CNY is coming, but no preparations as yet.
PJ is coming back from US on Sunday!

Kinda feel that I just had to blog today 'cos I'm feeling bored, well not really just that... ok I'll start doing it after this blog post.

Had an early celebration of my nephew - Jin Cheng's brithday, and his nickname is xiao zhu because of his zodiac, and well maybe his size too. haha

This was the buffet! (Which had a lot of leftovers that lasted till dinner and supper!)

Saw a crowd this morning at the corridor near the lift... first reaction: "Something has happened." Then I look up to where the rest were looking at. Charcoal-black ceiling.
A unit at 13th floor has caught fire. (It was reported in the newspaper)
Which reminds me that last year on 1st Jan, a unit at 13th floor caught fire too. The ceiling was burnt black too. And it was early in the morning as well.
Scary.

Like last year, I've got a show that I've been anticipating for, and in 2009, it's 团圆饭 (Reunion Dinner)!
Erm. Ok, it's actually the drama series which is gonna start showing next Tuesday starring Kym as Banana. What a name. HAHA!
Eh, that doesn't mean I don't look look forward to the actual reunion dinner... hehe 'cos it's always a sumptuous meal and happy occasion because the very next day is CNY!

Ok back to the topic. YAY! 团圆饭! Story written by the same guy - 洪荣狄, behind 一房半厅一水缸 (Just In Singapore) and 小娘惹 (Little Nonya).

While I was watching the countdown show on TV, I heard the fireworks from Malaysia.
This time round it's so much more visible and beautiful than the usual ones that goes off at some time of the year!
So I quickly ran to grab the video camera and record it down.
Then while recording I'm also watching the show.
Later I put down the video camera, watch the 10 sec countdown to 2009 on TV, and went to grab my digital camera to capture some still shots of the fireworks.
I LOVE MY DIGITAL CAMERA!! WAHAHA!
You'll know why.

See how busy I was with all the things happening at the same time to welcome the new year! HAHA
