This is a miraculous finding! YAY!
Someone gave it back to me today!
It was said that the cleaner found it in the toilet. HAHA
I suspected I dropped in the toilet too, but I can't find it there.
That person said she opened the thumbdrive to see... and find that "this person very familiar" WOW! They could remember me! To think she could find her way to the department where I'm in. And luckily... there was some photos inside to allow her to recognise me!
YAY! I was waiting for this day that I could post something up with a topic Thumbdrive found! and YES! Waa... I'm so grateful for it.
Thanks so much.
*I blogged as soon as I got back my thumbdrive! comment (0)
I lost my thumbdrive yesterday! It was lost within an hour, I have it with me in my pocket when I went for lunch. Then after I came back, happily settling down... I realised it was gone.
Guess it fell out of my pocket when I took out the tissue. I can't find it anywhere.
I don't usually bring a packet of tissue with me to lunch!
I bought it a year ago at the price of which a 4gb thumbdrive is worth now... so I guess it's not that expensive to get one now... and I've consoled myself that I have back up for the stuff in my computer. YAY!
So all is fine. comment (0)
isn't it similar with the one we played last Sun at PJ's house? =x
They played 海带拳 (seaweed game) to decide which team will take out the blocks...
They were so indulged in the game and it's so hilarious to see them play!
Then later when Kym realised she have no chance in winning in 海带拳 cos Bryan is leading the game, they changed to the classic - scissors paper stone!
Thought had no chance of taking photos of them, or with them when the event ended (as there were many people 护送 [body-guarding] them)... but managed to do so with LiTing's help! (Ask me if you want to know the details! =x)
Ahh... and read from Bryan's blog, he's pondering over whether or not to continue his contract.

We had no exact planning for the day, and there we are, met up and on our way to town. Bought tickets for August Rush and we went to the “tikam” machine located at B1 of Cine… was rather attracted to the little stuff there… and you can guess what happened then. We all fed the machine with the coins, and got ourselves each a little something. KF, PB and me got the same key cap!
August Rush was quite an interesting story relating to music and the human relationship.
I watched The Maid and I like the story! No wonder it was quite a hit the time when it was in cinemas. Some of the shots were very well taken… especially the reflections. My brother also watched it on DVD in Australia and he too, has positive comments about it. I want to watch Rule #1 ‘cos it’s by the same director – Kelvin Tong… (He is also the production manager for FJOTW) Who wants to watch with me?
We proceeded to PJ’s house at the end of the day, and we had a whole lot of fun there!
We PK Bishi Bashi on Play Station and also some other games! Then we played Jenga (uno stacko-like of game)…
PB was the unlucky one for the first round.
The second round of forfeit – to set friendster status as:
1) Interested in women
2) Relationship women
PB failed for the second round again.
The third round’s forfeit – winners pick someone randomly on the loser’s msn list and ask “Did you watch THAT show?!”
KF’s hands accidentally nudged the whole block of Jenga and yes, it fell. =x
So we picked out a primary school mate whom we all know on the list and questioned him. Out of our expectation, he still bothered to entertain us of our lame acts. We laughed till everyone is moving back and forth and out of position… and PJ kept hitting me!
In between we also played hosting for the “Jenga competition gameshow”, it was so distracting and amusingly descriptive!
Monday
(** Will update with photos once I get it from Wals!)
Went bowling with Jov, Aq & Wals. I want my 6 lb bowling ball, but there’s a school of kids learning bowling there, and I bet all the balls of that mass are taken by them already… the next lightest one is 9 lb. =/ Can’t really control it ‘cos it wasn’t suitable for me. Then when they finally left, I got the chance to get my hands on 6 lb!
(Ahh… and I’m aching all over since yesterday.)
Oh, and the way there we saw some cute trees which fascinated Jov a lot. HAHA
Strolled in a sports retail outlet and saw those equipments… basketball, badminton, roller skates… reminds me of the time when I used to play them. HAHA Not that now I’m unable to, but no one seems to be interested in playing basketball. I don’t have skates. Badminton… well, don’t have light ones, but now considering the fact that for now, light and normal ones are only priced at $20 odd dollars, it’s worth the buy if anyone wants to have a game or two together!
Today
Mum got a nightmare and she scared me too, not with her telling it, but it’s her yelling! What a nightmare… I remember when she was narrating the nightmare to me, it dawned on me that it could be an idea for filming! Haha…
And
It’s Wednesday again! ^ o ^ !
Some random shots!
View from my living area:
This is how it looked like during the wet days...
This is how it looked like when it is bright and shiny…
A yummy baby on the rack for grabs! (saw it on New Paper)
After handing in my timesheet at the office tower in Orchard, I was on my way back to the MRT... then KF and I met just like that! She was on her way to buy a pair of slippers... so we went together, then after which we realised that both of us don't have dinner at home, so settled down @ Causeway Point's Pasta Mania!
Thanks to PJ's bf who is working there, we got staff discount off our food! That's like such a value meal! We initially had even wanted to go watch movie, which is such a random act 'cos we didn't plan anything in mind, it was just a coincidental meet up and there we are, having our dinner together! In the end didn't catch one 'cos the timing was too late...
If not for the delay at the office at turf club... if not for the delay at the office tower... if not have we walked on the same side of the long and wide stretch of Orchard road... we wouldn't have met!
Coincidence is so miraculous!
*OH, adding on to the happy moment I'm currently enjoying, Bryan & Kym gonna bring tour to other countries for My Star Guide 3!! There's Yi Fong & Chen Han Wei also... though might be bringing the tour group on individual artiste basis... I LOVE THIS TRAVELLOGUE! *Looking forward to it!!* comment (0)
Diploma in Media and Communication will have its own school now! It's School of Communications, Arts and Social Science (School of CASS in short)!
That's so cool ok!
There'll only be our course and Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology.
Initially was the Language and Communications department now evolved to CASS, offering diploma-plus, specialist diploma courses & languge and communication modules also.
I'll be joining my poly mates as the organising committee for the Freshman Orientation Programme coming up in Apr! And we are the first batch of seniors there! That's freaking cool!
Can't wait to be in the new school!
Just a note, since we are not "categorised" under Business School now... can we don't take business modules?? (*Wishful thinking...*)
And this is so sick —— I dreamt about myself doing data entry yesterday.

comment (0)The day before yesterday
Went to ICA with mum to make her passport, and realised that the efficiency is now so much better than in the past. You'll just have to go queue up to take the passport size photo, take a form placed at the NETS transaction area, fill it up, glue the photo onto the form, make your payment via DIY method and after the receipt has been printed out, staple them together and drop it into the box. TADA! You are done! It takes about 5 working days for your passport to be done (depending on different days, I guess) and not sure if you'll be in a long queue during the collection...
There's a "gap" in between the middle of this building, decorated with greenery!
I suppose this is Kallang river, since we are somewhere near there...
This banner was rather funny... "Selling anyhow when boss is not around!"
Yesterday
Went to the "people mountain people sea" Suntec for the IT show.
Had planned what I wanted to buy after doing some research from the papers, but wasn't sure if I will get them, in the end, I still can't resist the temptation of those stuff selling at such prices... so I bought a cordless phone (comes as a twin pack actually),
an optical retractable mouse,
a router, (OH YAY! Now I can use internet anytime at home! Don't need to to "fight" with my bros)
and a 250gb hard disk! (So shiok can! The home pc's storage is depleting day by day because of me.... now I can store the shows I recorded in here! =x)
Oh man, and seeing the camera prices pains my heart. They are going at such low prices with many SD cards and free gifts thrown in! So PB got herself a digital camera of the Kodak brand, and when she told others about it, they had almost the same reaction: "Har." LOL
The specs was quite good, but not sure if it is lasting... anyway, there's the warranty "card" (receipt-quality-paper actually) of 1 year.
Got all exhausted and hungry so we randomly went to this restaurant - Just's Noodle, where there's free flow drink!
Had a rather satisfying meal of spicy chicken, I thought normally when they say "spicy" is ok only, but this one is really spicy. Woo! Shiok! Called PS and lucky PB has earpiece, if not we would have on the speaker and everyone can hear our conversation! we chatted for almost half an hour and PS's phone went no batt. and thus ended the conversation HAHA
Today at work is still like almost the same thing as what I did for the last week. Admin job. Duh.
I want my own cubicle in office! Got more freedom and space! The laptop I was given to use was quite *err*... Windows 2000, no internet, will lag and hang at times... "Mr Bean" accompanied me.

comment (0)Not TAF club ok, it's Turf Club.
Started work on Tuesday this week, doing some data entry stuff.
This is the pass that needs to be brought along everywhere for entry into offices, gates and even lifts!
Kinda bored after a couple of days... the office attire is one of it.
This is where I sit, sharing with my colleague.
And here's a poster behind me.
But luckily my colleauge brought me and the new staff (started work on the same day with me) to see the things happening around the turf club.
We went to the lab where they would take the horses' blood samples for testing to see if there was any positive results for drugs, the palce was very mechanical and not so interesting though.
There's the Inquiry session, whereby the Stipes (the so-called horse racing police) would call in the jockeys who were suspected of their actions such as pulling horses, knocking into other horses during the race. We attended the session too.
There's a projector where it shows the race that the jockeys were involved in, with different angles of the race projected in normal, slow-mo speed or paused.
Questions were posed to the jockeys and after they watch the video several times, they will be asked to give their comments, and all would have to leave the room for the Stipes to decide on whether they are guilty of it. Then finally all will be asked back to the room and the decision will be announced.
Oh, and there's a female jockey too.
Interesting huh? The Inquiry session don't happen often, so was rather lucky to be able to attend it only after 4 days of work!
Also went on to see the horse racing activities going on... we went to the parade ring to see the horses at close distance! I realise they were very sturdy, yet cute! Haha!
I had this liking for No. 3 horse... haha don't know why, just find it cool.
A lot of uncles were already at the turf club, ready for the race! Haha... didn't know the horse racing activity was such a hit. Didn't see many females... maybe there'll be more when there's Ladies' Night.
When I was about to go home, I saw A-Nan at the grandstand too.
The days at turf club so far had been an eye-opener for me, especially today!
And! I finally found a job suitable for the short and thin people - Jockeys! HAHA
The height for male jockeys are normally at around 1.6m only!
These are some badges from the previous Cups they held.
Well, well... not everyone gets the chance to go around the turf club - employee-only-area!
Hehe... off for my Gan-meng soup (is that how you spell it? Anyway, it's Yang Rou Tang) now! =x
Remember I posted in Dec last year of our Golden Pillow imitation?
Saw another hilarious imitation in this week's Folks Jump Over The Wall too!!
See the different versions below!
Kym & Bryan's version
LOL!!
