Nephews exposed!!

HAHA! Don't think otherwise... only their looks! =x
2nd Brother in Aust had sent the photos and videos.

This is Jin Cheng (锦城), born on 4 Jan 08!
*HOI! HA! I can defend myself!*

*Heh~...*

This is Jin Hong (锦鸿), born on 29 Sep, a millenium baby!

The Australian-Seah brothers! How cute they look together... ^^

Jin Cheng was left to "cry" for 4:39 for the sake of video taking - for us to watch. LOL
Poor kid! But he's really adorable lah, not a single drop of tears from his crying =X
Jin Hong still speaks with strong caucasian accent, naturally.
"He's very funny," was what he expressed towards Jin Cheng's actions, and later played with the baby's arm with his fingers. So sweet~!

And I realise Jin Hong is a charming little boy. Haha... he had been so looking forward to a younger sibling, and TADA! Jin Cheng is born! (Though he wanted a younger sister... but, he's still very happy to have a younger brother!)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How I wish they were here in Singapore... sometimes I'd have this imagination of while walking on the streets, I'll meet my 2nd brother and that he is back as a surprise for us...

I'd even dreamt - I was walking along the hawker centre area and heard a voice calling me, "Yan-zi (燕子)!" In my mind was thinking, isn't that 2nd bro's voice? I turned, and indeed it was him! I was caught by surprise, and asked when did you came back? He replied "Oh, just! A surprise for you all!"

But it was all a dream...during the period of time when he was making plans of moving back to Singapore. I woke up and obviously I remembered the dream. "SHIT lah, why did I dream of it..." was what I thought in my mind, because people said that when you remember your dream, it won't come true, and indeed it didn't.

Hoping to see them... back in Singapore.

TV Themesongs
Thursday, January 24, 2008
Posted @ 11:50 AM

These are themesongs of some of my favourite programmes.
Preferred past time dramas though, it simply captures my attention and evoke the anticipation for the next episode, the next and the next!

Aiyoyo!~

Good Morning, Sir!

The Magnate

Especially love Unbeatables I & II, the computer effects were not exaggerating nor fake, it all seemed natural and all the action flows! COOL is the word to describe it!

Unbeatables I

New Adventures Of Wisley

Legends of the Eight Immortals

Legends of Ji Gong

Wanted to watch dramas like 红头巾, 雾锁南洋, 出路 etc. but the encore timing just isn't right, and 雾锁南洋 haven't encored since the days I'm addicted to TV! Dramas which convey history are usually those that leaves impression and evokes feelings and emotions...

Price Of Peace

Tofu Street

Stepping Out

I admire Xie Shao Guang's acting! He's the type that can portray any character of the story very well at any time! A five-time winner of Best Actor, two-time winner of Best Supporting Actor in Star Awards, and also winning Best Actor in Asian TV Awards for his role in Stand By Me! An All-Time Favourite Artiste Award was presented to him in 2004 too.
A pity he has retired from the industry... hope to see him act again.

Stand By Me

Have to mention that recent local drama productions has improved! From Honour and Passion, to Metamorphosis and The Golden Path which recently ended its run. The storyline is captivating with emotional impact. GREAT! Another step to venture into the international market!
Hoping to see even better productions on our TV!

The Golden Path

Metamorphosis

Honour and Passion

Of course, not forgetting Comedies!
Folks Jump Over The Wall has proven its success as a comedy!
Not only does it contain the comedicy element, it also instill feelings and emotions of one in the process of pursuing his dream, conveying yet another form of connotation to the story.
It made me realise that comedy can actually be written this way.
This should go for nomination in Asian TV Awards! And... and... Star Awards - but too bad, if there aren't enough comedies produced, there'll not be any awards set up for the comedy side (since they've already removed it from the year 2006).

Folks Jump Over The Wall

Different Cuts Different Strokes

Themesongs do play a part in putting up a drama, the tempo, tune and lyrics all communicate the significance and genre of the story.
Hope you all enjoyed the above songs!

Our special sharing session watching other group's videos together today was so rewarding and nonetheless, created lots of laughters for us, not because the film was laughable, but it was pretty cute the way my fellow classmates speak in the film. HAHA
Great job by everyone! I've certainly enjoyed and learnt from you all! Rock on!

Watching TV...
Wednesday, January 16, 2008
Posted @ 4:38 PM

Finally got some free time these few days 'cos it's supposedly the
《 study week 》, but I'm actually watching the shows (recorded) I've not been able to watch the past few weeks.

I was watching the last episode of Dude and the Princesses (2 Jan), they were introducing about high heels... then there's this super high (6-inch) heels, guess what Bryan said?
"这双鞋子呢,我相信钟琴是最适合穿了,因为她够
(This pair of heels is most suitable for Kym because she's tall enough)

LOL "suan-ing" her again!

And while watching Maria Not At Home (4 Jan) episode, I'm so so amazed by Bryan's ability to read the "hider's" mind (If you know how the game is played)! His "6th sense" is always so accurate, and once he set on that particular location, he never failed to find the item, just like what Yi Fong said!
It's really hilarious to see the way Yi Fong react to Bryan's findings... hahaha...
"Bi bibi bibibi Bi bibi bibibi!~ 男的站左边,女的站右边
最丑的Maria你站中间"
LOL! What a tagine... HAHA

A few years back, he also got this similar show, Precious Home on Channel U during the MediaWorks time - hosted by him, Michelle Chia and Ben Yeo... the way he go about finding those stuff... you'll be so so surprised at how he managed to know and look for it!
No wonder he's always the winner in game shows
(you-name-it, he-wins-it!)
_________________________________________________________

Tonight there's Folks Jump Over The Wall!
The debut episode last week was funny in the way the sound effects complemented with the characters' actions! And Cologne and Ms Lim are melodramatic characters. HAHA
It indeed has succeeded as a sitcom! Can't wait for tonight's episode!

The feature in this week's U Weekly!

The 25th Year Anniversary Drama periodical has a small section mentioning about:
- Bryan as the 1st part-time child actor to be a full-time artiste now
(He looked as cute when he was young!)
- Kym in New Adventures Of Wisley
(The chapter - 天书 which she is involved in gonna show this Sun @ 11pm on Ch 8!)

* BUT! They forgot to include Different Cuts, Different Strokes (剪剪大家乐) in the list of drama/sitcom productions!

Happy Birthday to Pei Jing tomorrow!

PS: Will be posting up my group's CA3 project film on Friday, so do check back!

SPCA
Friday, January 4, 2008
Posted @ 11:50 PM

It was for news writing interview @ SPCA, thus, we went.

Poh Choo (staff) tells us a lot about what SPCA was about... and her passion towards it, and because of her love for animals, she go vegeterian, and she studied Mass Comm., but came into this profession. It's wow.

The dogs and puppies there were none other than to use this word to describe... CUTE!

This one is very friendly!! Kept coming near the cage and stick it's nose out!

Some dogs were really huge... SCARY.

Husky! The handsome breed.

Fluffy and flurry Schnauzer!

Some of the cats were adorable as well... and the rabbits!!

Look at this blue-eyed kitten! Pampered by so many HANDS =x

This one is funny... very sensitive to moving things in front of it.

BY the way...
I've got another nephew born this morning! So my first nephew (8 years old this year) got a younger brother that he had always been hoping for, though he prefer a younger sister... Haha...

The news tonight shocked me. And everyone. MC King, the guy who always brought joy with him everywhere to everyone, has passed away this afternoon.
Had read his blog before, and I JUST saw him last Saturday @ AMK Hub strolling... and today, everything has turned into a different situation.
Really sad for his leave from this world... But hope he rest in peace and goes well. All about him, during different parts of his life are remembered by different people.
May all be well for him, in his other world.

Life is just so unpredictable.
