Planned to go to my ex-primary school teacher's (Huang Lao Shi) house today with my jie meis for a mere gathering because she wasn't really able to attend to us at her house warming (look at my first post of June 08).
(Even my 2nd bro who is Aust and called this morning was shocked that I still keep in contact with PRIMARY school affiliates. HAHA)
"Primary school" seems very far for all of you right? But me and my jie meis had known each other since primary 5! There's 7 of us, and I'm always honoured and proud to have them as my friends! :)
Back to track, hp told me last minute that she had to go to school for something, and pb has some band stuff, telling me to meet the rest and go to the house first.
I replied "K bout wat time will u all reach?"
Hp: "About 1 plus"
So ok loh... I met up with rw, pj n kf first and shop around for some stuff since hp & pb would be late. Rw, pj & kf said that they were hungry, so I told them to buy some food first since we still have to wait for them.
As I reached the door, I saw hp & pb inside with HLS.
That moment has aroused my suspicion.
I stepped in, hp reached out her hand to wish me Happy Birthday.
And I also decided to prove my suspicion.
Me: "Eh... 你们不是讲会比较迟来咯?" (Eh... I thought you all would come later?)
Hp: "Uhh... 我和PuayBing在Sembawang那边遇到,then 就一起来了咯" (Uhh... PuayBing and I bumped into each other at Sembawang, then we came together lor)
Ok that is like 90% confirmed.
I sat down in the living room... observing.
Hp & Pb went into the kitchen with HLS... and the door of the kitchen is closed.
That is like 100% CONFIRMED lah!
HAHAHAHA...~
Then they came out of the kitchen and...
"Happy Birthday To You! Happy Birthday To You!"
(It was an advanced birthday celebration for me!)
So I went happily to them... and popped,
"你们的演技好差啊!" (Your acting are all very bad!)
LOL!
They started laughing... and told me their initial plan wasn't like that!
They had already planned with pj in advance, (even kf and rw wasn't aware of it) but it was because pj forgot to message them that we are arriving, so they were kinda flustered with the preparation. =x
But anyway, I was very happy to have my closest and longest friends I had with me to celebrate the occasion, and they had it prepared too!
How nice and sweet of them!~
We took quite some photos together and I made my wish... and then made the first cut to the cake. We kept that as the dessert and start to indulge ourselves in the pizza hut & drumlets HLS ordered for us. There's fruit juice... potato chips... and many more!
So much so that all of us are almost shouting "HELP~~" HAHA =x
We had a long long chat... about ourselves, people around us, relationship, the past we shared during primary school times...
Reminiscing about the past memories is quite an enjoyable and wonderful activity.
HLS then brought out the photo album she kept that contained the photos she took with her students... WAH (A SIGH OF RELIEF) that she didn't had the one I was inside.
Want to burn everyone's album that has me during that time... 惨不忍睹 one. hahaha...
We also made a call to ps, who is at the faraway Jinan, and had a mass conversation (7 of us) with her. We tried to be Zek Ark (cruel) to her by saying that we will send her a photo of the cake that we ate to share with her, and tempt her with local dishes like laksa, but it didn't work 'cos she had it during her ShangHai trip, then I tried "XIA(2)" Mian(4) (虾面 a.k.a. prawn noodles) HAHAHA 'cos she always pronounce it this way. =x
She miss Singapore, and we misses her too! ^^
Today was such a fun-filled day and I really enjoyed it so much... thanks to my dearest friends, haiping, puaybing, peijing, peishan, ruiwen, kaifeng, and teacher for making this happen!
I'm really grateful and appreciative of it.
They even packed the leftover cakes... ferrero, pizza and some other tidbits for me to bring home, insisting that I should eat more. Haha... thanks so much.
It just feel so great to have and be with you all.
Why?
No lah!~ Not me!
(I should be alive for all and every reason =x)
It's the documentary on Arts Central - I Shouldn't Be Alive.
It's really an amazing irony that in the varsity of the Earth's elements,
it portrays the vulnerability and willpower of humans.
Vulnerability in that human are so insignificant and can do so little for ourselves when we are challenged face-to-face with the nature.
Willpower in that human's determination keeps us going and created chances of being rescued/survival.
This documentary realistically demonstrates the weakness and strength in human, how they face the crisis, how they deal with it, what did they have to deal & cope with, what will happen to any of them...
Catch it on every Friday @ 10pm, Arts Central.

Second of all, I've gotten into the elective module that I wanted - TV Studio Management!!
Now, that's a triple YAY!
Mum will be flying off to Aust tonight!
It was only yesterday morning that the call from Aust came, and that afternoon I went to buy the ticket with Mum, and today she'll be flying off!
'Cos bro's baby is having some problems and it has been on and off for a couple of weeks.
And since Mum is having "school" holidays as well, she'll be there for a month!
是啊。。。这是我的家
Not literally and not for now... but in the near future... hahaha
And I realise people around me have been flying off this year...
Oh, just a coincidence, while waiting at T1 for boarding, Chen Han Wei walked past.
I look at him, he look at me. I stoned during that few seconds. Haha
Always had this once a year visit to Sentosa with Jie Meis... hopefully we can do it again this Aug!
Went to Sentosa with the School of CASS club people... just a get-to-know-each-other session, an all student event.
In a couple of year's time, this would be transformed into a new and major attraction for the tourists to Singapore!
Watched a Taiwan travellogue on Thursday where they went to 帛流 (Palau), a small country with many islands. The waters are so clear and green-ish blue! And the scenery... Awww~The sight of it just makes you feel like you are in a dreamland... so wonderful...
Updated at 7.54pm on 11 June
It was Dad's birthday, me and Mum had been shopping for stuff for him for a couple of days, and we got him shirts... his favourite snacks like peanuts, cuttlefish, beer...
and Mum made him Mee Sua, I made the red eggs.
All the above are fully paid by Mum though. HAHA
Rarely that Dad is at home for his birthday 'cos he had this friend who shares the same birthday as him, so they had been going out to celebrate on their birthdays for the past few years.
Mum & Dad's birthday are so coincidentally near to the dates of Mothers' Day & Fathers' Day respectively... so that means I can celebrate two occassion in one.
Happy Birthday!!
Oh and big bro bought me the 七仔 soft toy (Stephen Chow's movie that alien dog) from his Malaysia trip! It was so cute!
By the way, RANDOM.
been to Sheng Siong today and saw the major changes done to the outlook and inner layout! It's only been a few weeks since I last visted it... and now the walkway is so broad, free and easy to walk.
The seafood area used to be wet & dirty... now they've set aside a section for it, very neat and clean. And they've adopted the way that cashier also pack the customer's goods rather than having a cashier and a packer separately. So so much better than last time! comment (0)

A picture at the Changi Village before our bump boat ride to PU!
The boat we were on has the "boat plate" with alphabets - SP!
My beloved DMC 04 classmates & PTN!
Happily posing for another camera
And with the photographing on our way... we have finally reached here!
Cycling all the way made us all exhausted and rest by this little hut
Our destination to Chek Jawa is near! And we had to go by foot through the reserve... everyone felt so much better off the bike. HAHA
They were all very excited when they saw the vending machine for drinks! As you can see, all their wallets were out, only to realise that the machine wasn't working!! HAHAHA
Mid-way through...
Here we are! Look at the long long bridge ahead...
A very out-of-Singapore scenery!
Kwa was trying to be the tour guide explaining to us the forest in front of us by referring to the information board... but apparently no one is entertaining her. =x
Many aeroplanes flew past... and this is one of the closest full zoom on the plane!
We rest yet again by a hut... a very long rest. Almost all the tidbits were finished here.
A single shot for each of the 13 of us!
A nice little village looking house in sight as we found the place to relieve our bladders... Toilet lah... not the grass.
Our way back through the rocky uphills and downhills... and we found this blue-ish green lake... so beautiful!
Parking our bikes all over...
behind are the best partners supporting each other side by side!
This marks the end of our PU trip!
Admiring the sight of the waters...
This picture was taken at the risk of my camera put on top of the boat with a 2-sec timer set
We then decided to go to the airport for our lunch... and this is Kwa looking at her always-helpful map in the car
All of us ordered the same set with same drinks and sides @ Popeyes.
After Kwa left, we explored the airport... Cass pushed me and Liting on the trolley, when it finally stopped, Liting fell down from it. Then next was a ROAR OF LAUGHTER from behind where the others were.
This is what you call - friends. HAHAHA
and this is where Jov and Me found our symbols
In the skytrain that Liting took for the first time ever
This marks her first step out of the skytrain onto T2! Somehow, someone is trying to beat her to it... (look at the right)
The machine didn't break down... don't worry... they are just looking at the various timeslots for movies
They spotted me taking picture alone... so they joined in on this low angle shot!
On our way to City Hall
When we were on our way through City Link, Sam(antha) reminded us of Liting pronouncing Adidas as Anidas... so when we walked past the shop we went
"ANIDAS AH! ANIDAS! EH ANIDAS GOT GSS!"
FRIENDS you call this. =x
*BLEH*
We were at Marina Square where there's movies, pool and bowling...
movies didn't have very good timeslots, pool was too expensive, so we settled for a game of bowling.
Look at the bottom left picture, Flo has the best pose but not the best goals.
Look again at the top left picture, Jov hasn't got the best pose, neither does she have the best goals. LOL
This was our score. F was me 'cos Flo took over my place (L) when I went to the toilet.
Cass got the highest score!
You must be thinking whre in the world did we get the energy for the cycling all around PU, exploring the airport and then to here for bowling right? haha...
In the toilet... so you can see how clean the toilet was that we could stay in for photograph taking!
This monster at the right is gonna eat us up! There's actually 4 person in here... can you spot the 4th?!
Up the escalator to Raffles City
for dinner @ Cafe Cartel...
actually at this point of time I'm already "ahh~choo-ing" away...It went ah-choo...ah...ahh. ahh choo! here, but when I got home, it has turned into AHH CHOO! AHH CHOOO! AH CHOO! CHOO! CHOO! AH CHOO! The next sneeze caught up when I haven't finish sneezing the first one. -.-!
And the train I took back home has the panadol for cold advertisement all over... how timely.
But I don't take panadols. Too bad.
And there's this SMS contest on the ad as well, asking you to describe what you hate most about flu. HAHA
And this morning I woke up @ 9am+, with no other of my 04 mates online yet.
My butt hurts!!~ Argh...
And thanks to the sunblock & insect repellent, I didn't get sun burn and many mosquito bites!
WOOHOO! A successful class outing for DMC 04!
