Happy Teachers' Day!

Went back to WDL Sec for the teachers' day celebration, but the concert was not up to standard. Half an hour spent on giving teachers the flowers and stuff... then the concert was less than half an hour. But well, there's some entertaining factor with the teachers being involved during the concert.

These were all the teachers

The level directors from Sec 1 to 5
This is the laugh-at-people yet good teacher - Mr Choh, dressing havoc-ly (to which he claim himself to be outside school)

Some of the other teachers I won't forget... Mr Tan PY, Mrs Leau, Mdm Boey, Chen Lao Shi (now teaching in Shu Qun sec)...

Oh, and when are all of you (zq, wh, al, sam) free?
We will ask her out someday for a get together.

Then went back to FPS (moved to new location) with rw and pb.
And this is the outlook... somehow similar to WDL -.-

We were the pioneer batch of Mr Ang when he was a trainee teaching us in Pri. 5, and now he's the HOD of visual arts. Haha, and also married and the father of a cute baby girl.

Didn't see Mrs Chang though, she was our bao-ga-liao teacher in P5, teaching us almost all subjects, from EL, Math, Sci, Health Ed to PE and Art. HAHA
Also, not forgetting Huang Lao Shi (Happy Birthday!)... now teaching in another school
By the way, Huang Lao Shi is asking us (P***) gang to go over to her house someday, so when are all of you free? She's not free on Tues though.
And Mr Ang also owe us a meal ('cos he didn't invite us to his wedding)... must grab the chance to get him to return this treat =x

Thanks to all the teachers that made my life today.

Happy Teachers' Day!

First day working as tester for LTA new card system.

Was given 9 cards worth $47 each card, each in/out trip costs $0.66, so did that for 650 times in all.
Had to let the sensors sense that there are people walking pass the gate ('cos we scanned the cards at one go) so we had to motion our hands to let it sensed that, otherwise that gate would be stuck there opened.
Was quite a funny scene to see everyone doing the same action =x
And the passengers all gave a @_@ look when they see us doing that
Some of them don't dare to tap their cards when the red light lit up HAHA

There were 16 people in all at a station, and other stations conducting this are Expo, Punggol, Marina Bay, those allocated to Admiralty had to take bus though.

So lucky us, we were @ Kranji.

The first 6 cards.
PLEASE TAP CARDFinally left with this amount... This did what was stated as my title for today's entry
IN
OUTThe lanyard... This is mine... $1.90Guess how much is this?? Be shocked! Its $4!

We can't use those cards to travel elsewhere.
Not even elsewhere for lunch.
(They said we could during the briefing...)

CPF roadshow
Sunday, August 26, 2007
Posted @ 1:43 PM

Yesterday @ Marina Square. Its about CPF retirement stuff (ok, that's 50 more years to come), but went to see the celebrities appearance of Kym & Nat Ho. They played games with the audiences, and ps, kf and rw ran away even before they start to come down the stage and pick players (-.-!)
Pb and me happily sit there and enjoy. HA!

Nat ho!

Kym as funny (with sarcasm) as usual, she had a haircut with a Tai-Tai look.Had lunch @ Subway (its only my 2nd times eating there), shared a footlong sandwich with pb, and was rather amazed by how that half-foot of bread is in my stomach when I finished it.
Felt like playing bowling when I saw people playing @ the bowling alley, want to play badminton and basketball too... kinda miss these sports *Hint* *Hint*.
This set of bones of mine haven't been exercising for the longest of time...

Bought a pair of jeans @ Marsiling costing $25 when Far East Plaza is selling at least $33.90 - $42.90 (depending on which shop you go to).

Then proceeded to my house for mahjong! Pb was the big winner winning 6 rounds, and me 5 (Didn't bet with money though). As for ps and kf... mmm.
The pro title still belong to the adults around me. Ha!

Ancient VS Modern

Voting: Which do you prefer?
Ancient or Modern?

Quote from:
刘晋元 Liu Jin Yuan
in 仙剑奇侠传 Chinese Paladin

“相爱,不如相知。
与其执着痴念,不如化为祝福。
不要让你爱的人,被你的爱所磨蚀。
反过来,以你的爱,让他得到力量,展翅高飞。
假若真的有缘,就算分隔两地,心仍会在一起。
真正爱一个人,必定以他的幸福 ,当作是你的幸福。
若然有人,能比你给予他更大的幸福,你就把他送到那里去。”

"Better to be acquainted than to be in love.
Instead of clinging on to loving someone, turn it into blessings.
Don’t let him/her suffer under the love you give him/her.
On the contrary, let him/her gain the power of freedom with your love.
If the two are destined, the hearts will still stay by each other even if both of you are separated in physical distance.
To truly love someone, you would regard his/her happiness as your own happiness.
If there is another person who can give him/her greater happiness,
Send him/her there. "

If you love a person, not only should you accept her present and future,
You should also accept her everything in the past."

"Secret" revealed

Exam-free since yesterday!

Went to watch Jay Chou's movie - The Secret.
The story is beautiful and unique, very touching also! The piano challenge part was very exciting... you can see how his fingers "fly" on the piano keys =x
The setting is beautiful as well... Do catch it if you haven't, and No, I'm not saying that this movie is nice because its "Jay Chou's Movie", but the story plot is different from the love story of "Idol dramas".

Oh yeah, it was blowing crazily last Saturday before it starts to rain so much that I can't see Johor from my house. The bamboos-of-clothes were shaking vigrously and a shirt got blown off, far far away~, and I hear some type of container that dropped to the ground, tree branches fell HAHA sounds like a "storm" =x
Here are some pictures!

Auntie trying to keep in the clothes, well but...Curtains blowing...Looking to Johor... starting to "disappear" in sight

Here's a video:

Going to slack whole day watching shows! =x
Oh, and Bryan got a blog too! I've linked it!

Happy 42nd National Day!

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Ok now, I didn't know that Jimme Ye (Ye Liang Jun aka Campus Superstar judge) was a lecturer in my school until Syawal told me yesterday! He wrote this year's NDP songs, and weird enough, though he's in SMIT (beside SB), I never seen him before.

Yesterday... while I was watching TV happily, I kept hearing this flapping noise, at first it didn't bother me, I thought some neighbour came home or whatever, but it didn't stop, so I went to see for myself. And to my greatest shock it was the most humongous MOTH I had ever seen! It just kept flapping away and can't seem to fly.

My first reaction was: Stunned. Then I ran to take my camera and snapped these pictures. (PB, please have some mental preparation if you are reading it)

Its really scary to see such a huge thing ok... (PB, lets ^5) HAHA

Weird calls
Tuesday, August 7, 2007
Posted @ 5:56 PM

This is extremely weird ok.
First I got this call (displayed a handphone no.) from a girl looking for someone by the name of "woen teck"
"HUH?!" was my reaction, and she repeated "woen teck" again.
I told her "wrong number".
How strange. A coincidence that someone has the same name with my secondary school friend?

Next, was a call from "Flora", not the one in my class, but I've got this person's number as it displayed her name when she called. She was looking for "Li(4) Yan(4)". Ok, just when I thought "this person is looking for me", she asked "Are you working today?"
"HUH?!"
She asked again, "Are you Li Yan?"
"Ya...."
"Are you the one working at di cali (whatever the name was)"
"No..."
"Ok, sorry..."

THEN, this call came, when I saw "Unknown no." I thought, "Is it a wrong call again?"
And yes, I WAS RIGHT. She looking for "Boon Fai" -.-zzz How many times do I have to say wrong number today? Ok so here goes "Wrong number" to her.

All happened one hour after another, from the first call at 3.33pm, then 4.08pm, and 5.43pm. Am I going to receive another WRONG call at 6pm+??

By the way,
Happy Birthday to Kai Feng! comment (0)

The pig in action
Saturday, August 4, 2007
Posted @ 10:50 PM

Slept at 11pm yesterday and woke up today @ 9.30 to watch Doraemon... an hour later went back to sleep till 2pm to eat and watch TV, went back to sleep again at 4 plus and woke up at 6 plus.
Total hours slept : 15 - 16
And adding to that, I didn't dream of anything at all! Really was a deep sleep...

What a great way of "healing" myself...

That's 'cos I had been sleeping at 2am+ / 3am+ for the past few days, thanks to projects.

Well, got to know about the project marks for ITB, and got A for my group! Wow, felt real honoured and relieved that I didn't failed in helping in the project and the report... =x
Anyway, its the easiest module to pass and score at least a B

For the next few weeks its gonna be a much more relaxed week due to the study week, exam weeks (2), followed by the most anticipated HOLIDAYS (4) weeks (but still had to come back for 2 weeks for some have-to-come-back-although-school-say-its-holidays stuff.)

That's all, mainly to say how I had been a pig today =x
