I want to visit the set of It's a Great Great World!

Went there today but didn't alight to go walk around, got to see the '鬼火车' set only... saw the camera crew at a distance... wanted to alight to walk around and see but parents didn't want to~ oh well... I was afraid we might disrupt their shoot as well...

ahh...!!~ I want to see the whole set so much! It's always fascinating to see a drama/movie set!
The last time when I saw it was a drama set of a home setting in MCS, Jov, Ying and I was so excited over it! 'cos it looked real on screen and it's nice how they set up the place to be as similar as the actual ones. And oh one thing for us is that we tend to look into details of dramas/movies... and sometimes we are very picky over things like that. HAHA... so just enjoy watching your dramas/movies!

I want to visit the set of 大世界 so much!~

Dates

Yesterday, last year was the date that marks the start of my internship at MCS... and it's been a year now that I have been working there. From intern, to drama AD, to variety editor... Time flies. And I didn't expect myself to be working there for this long too.

Today, 6 years ago was the announcement of media merger, 6 years later, we are on the same day again - Friday.

-----------------------------------------------------

Just finished watching the whole series of 巾帼枭雄, the use of a very good story background - rice - an essential for everyone, especially orientals. And the portrayal of how women - a role that possess very low status back in the ancient empire, could also stand out and defend for what they believe in, which is how you derive at the drama's title - 巾帼枭雄 (Jin Guo Xiao Xiong),
巾帼 (detailed definition here) means Female
枭雄 (detailed definition here) means Hero
- which literally means 'Heroine'.

Great show! There will be 巾帼枭雄之义海豪情 soon! I shall look forward to the release!

Shall catch up on 溏心风暴之家好月圆! Haven't caught this one after 溏心风暴 long time ago. Hong Kong like to do a sort of like 'continuation' to their very successful dramas with a '之 ....' after the original title... haha! Aiya... but PPTV is always giving me chinese dubs...

Primary gathering

Amazing hor. After soooo many years (a decade), we are still keeping in touch with our primary school teacher. And the last year that we visited her, her baby was only about 2 months old, and this time we visit her, her baby already can walk and recognise so many stuff! A very clever and cheerful girl! SO CUTE!

The way she smiled in this photo reminds me of one that I have when I was like this young... Haha!

And we once again saw the horrendous photos of our past. EEW. Oh but it's laughable. LOL

Pleasant supper with all the talking and chattering! I very 'Gian' that Ginger + Vinegar with dumplings... and recently I also very 'Gian' salads! I remember Starbucks got very shiok chicken salad! *DROOLING*

Guess who sang this song?

I've been wondering how was the drama like when I heard this song last time... and yesterday got to saw it by chance. The 3 main leads are Ann Kok, Chen Xiu Huan and Lina Ng, a tennis-related sports drama.

Unriddle 最火搭档™

This is really a superbly well done local drama that kept my eyes glued and looking forward to the next episode every time!

The ending was rather unexpected and if you look back at it, everything makes sense as they have dropped slightly noticeable hints in between the episodes.

One that I've noticed was before it was revealed was this:

I wondered when Dewei says that Zhirong told him about the case 15 years ago... like "Why would he tell Dewei so easily just because he is a CID?"

And Ep 16:

It was quite puzzling to me for his 'sudden injury' which Xiaoman asked him about and he just said that he got hurt playing football... then I recalled seeing a scene probably in the opening song of him and Yuze struggling in a car...

And another one was this:

There was no reason for him to fire 2 shots at Andrew when 1 shot was already enough to control the situation because it was shot at the critical position...

But in the end it was still quite shocking because it didn't occur to me that he would be the one... Dewei always seemed like a person (like what Xiaoman says) with IQ below 85. Haha. Bangjun acted very well for this role.

I like how Rui En everytime geared up her fierce prowess and commands. Power!

A very good actress.

I gathered about Xiaoman's father's behaviour... Through the words they used:

and Thomas Kok's expressions before he died when mentioned of Xiaoman's father's name...

so it was rather a confirmation than a conclusion when Xiaoman finally learns about her father's doing...
And like what Xiaoman said, sometimes the truth is ugly...

It's brilliant to incorporate one big case while the other cases are going on. Nice.

Joshua's performance in this drama was excellent too, I was touched during the scenes of him and his Mum and the heartless Dad.
However the last case of the identity switch seems to be rather unnecessary and rushed.

It then dawn on me that we can also produce great police dramas locally based on past productions like the one that Xie Shao Guang acted in which he was a police and was the ultimate pervertic killer (I forgot the title), and 破茧而出.

--------------------------------------------------------

The ending of
Unriddle 最火搭档™ made it seem like a possible 2nd season, and I hope there would be!
And I think they made the ending with Xiaoman going to a date probably to set the opening for the (possible) next season like the opening for this season (if you could recall) - Xiaoman going on a date with Yuze.
There were also room for more stories to be developed on as new character pops up, and the 'rivalry' between Dylan and Yuze.
