Realised I haven't been updating my blog with pictures.
Here's some from last weekend's celebration of birthdays~

My 3rd Bro's

Lunch:
80th birthday of my uncle-in-law's father @ Roxy Hotel

Oh I love mini octopus!!

Shark's fins! I've been waiting for wedding ceremony so that I could eat this. =x

My youngest cute cousin!

My other cousin who speaks cute-ly! =x

My young young cousins are all here.

The birthday cake being pushed in!

They made a picture video of the family from some day-to-day snapshots and when they visited various countries like Egypt, China, London... wa... Egypt!~ One of the exotic places which I wish to go~
Oh, and they used windows movie maker. Haha.

When I look up at the sky, I saw all this nice candy floss looking clouds~
Don't know if the people living in the East saw this too...

And later on Dinner:
My Ah Ma's 87th birthday

I had a FULL day man. Haha. And I've had 3 cakes in 2 days!

Yesterday
The two person (left and center) kept us waiting... and waiting... in the lecture hall when the lecture ended while they were busy fan boy-ing and fan girl-ing over Korean stuff.

Wals was showcasing the song Tong ("Dong") Hua which he'll be singing during the duet in CASS Got Talent

was supposed to make me quite bored along the way to school today...
AND in fact, it wasn't suppose to be a school day 'cos D is on MC and we only have D's lesson today.
BUT I was on MC last Mon for GEMS, which we were suppose to have test.
So... make-up test today lor.

Ok that aside, the main thing is, without music's company, I overheard a conversation between 2 aunties when they boarded at... er, I don't know which station.

Wow. That was an exciting story to hear. It sounds like she's talking to me huh? HAHA But she was talking to her friend, rather loudly, and I was just beside. So. =x

I guess the learning point here is to remain calm at such situations and verify the identity your love one... and the auntie has also said that the police told her that they had been receiving reports on such cases recently.
I think if it's my mum, she'll be all frantic.

So... without music in my ears can be a rather interesting experience too. comment (0)

Timezone

Quite random for Kai and me to alight at BB with Flo and Ying 'cos Flo suggested we go lunch out together, we agreed then off we go =x
Flo was so excited about Timezone which we then went to.

It's been a long time since I last played in arcade... I remember the times when me and my PHLS gang was so addicted to it that we go early in the morning to arcade 'cos there was the early bird offer and each game was only $0.40 I think. But that was... years years ago. Hehe

"EEEYER! Why no Bishi Bashi?!"
"AIYER... Daytona only got two."

The basketball game made our hands ache so much. It's only one game though. =x
Played some other shooting and throwing ball games... a great way to release all the stress man.

Let's go for more the next time!
(Maybe we should make it our class outing. HAHA) comment (0)

Eclipse
Wednesday, July 22, 2009
Posted @ 11:59 PM

Did anyone see it?
I doubt anyone in Singapore did 'cos it rained this morning.
Spoiler.
Just watched the encore telecast on Channel U, wah... the eclipse is so awe-inspiring! How I wish I could witness it...

Almost everyone in my group is falling sick. So we decided to cancel our campaign today. And it's as amazing as seeing eclipse to see that there's only 2 person (me & Jov) from our group in school today. Haha.
As instructed by D to go home and rest... we did.

There seems a lot to be done, but we aren't doing anything...
It feels uneasy to be not working much on anything... comment (0)

Better tomorrow

If only there wasn't the temperature taking section at the gate, I would have gone to school to just take the test. =/
Highest was 39.6°C. Record man.
But well, had been sleeping like a pig today... great though. To replenish the hours I have missed.
Subsided. And hope it will still remain till tomorrow.
'Coc campaign is still on. comment (0)

It's the 3rd day of the campaign.
I can't wait for it to be over.
It's draining.

Something coming up in a couple of months time.
Be updating again.

Scene: In the lift
Cast: Jov, Aq, Wals, Nad & a lot of other people, including F

F: (Sarcastic) Oh, your class, 04, very wonderful class ah

*Everyone (us) look at each other*

F: (Slant eyes) Always give me a lot of trouble and complaints

*Lift door opens at 2nd level*

*Jov, Aq, Wals, Nad & Me walk out, giving phony laughters*

Just when you thought the above was a script, it is not.

Whatever was that for man?!
Come on! Get a life!
I don't mind being categorised under '04' 'cos I love my class, but hello?! Did we even do anything in the first place for F to make such comments?! We weren't even creating any troubles for F when we had F's lessons! I can pledge with my integrity man.
Can you even imagine those words came from a lecturer's mouth, and announcing it for other audience other than us that F supposedly had it meant for?

Maybe it didn't seem that serious from the way I had it typed above.
But you should have seen how F delivered those words.

I thought I could still enjoy the pure environment the life which school provides... but... F had to poke a hole through.
I am disappointed.

It's been 2 years

Updated @ 11.21pm, 9 July

And as promised, last year on this date that I would put the above as my blog title today, it's already the 2nd year of my blog!

Actually had NAPFA test today, but it rained, so cancelled.
Lucky that it was cancelled, for I tried running (and walking) the 2.4km, after 3 years of rusting my bones away, I clocked a disastrous timing that would have been FAILED! Can you imagine I took like 24minutes to complete 2.4km?!

Last time even if I take the longest time to complete the distance, walking at times... I still managed like 20minutes.
I missed PE lessons now... even though it was monotonous to run every week around the school for PE lessons, it did me good.
I need a 'pushing force' to exercise. Poly doesn't give PE lessons. So I didn't for like my entire Poly life. HAHA

I hope I can take NAPFA in Nov so that I've got time to train. ARGH.
Oh, but maybe it will take me till Nov that I start training. =x

My legs are aching so badly now that I feel like an old woman having osteoporosis problem. comment (0)

The day of 5 July

How many people can see sun rise, sun set at their doorstep?
How many wake up early just to see the sun rise...
How many stand by to wait to see the sun set...

Busy city people are missing out the beauty the nature has presented to us.

Let me share with you the beginning of today's morning

Check 7.18am - the one on the right is a reflection of the one on the left, reflected on the window.

Oh and I dreamt that we are moving house... to some high class condo-like HDB flats, and our unit is in a secluded corner (which I like) HA!
With the scenery above, I guess we can fetch a good price for our current one? =x

But people say dreams and reality are opposite of each other.
So...
No chance of buying over our current house now... or anytime soon. ^o^

Birthday wishes through the advanced techonology!

Thanks to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday! verbally, non-verbally or in any forms or channels... even belated birthday wishes, Thank you all so much for remembering!~

Actually went to Bakers World as introduced by Driving Miss Foodie, but they were close for the day. :( Many people in their cars drove and stop by outside the shop to check too, guess they were as disappointed. HA! Even if they are open for the day, you might not get any 'cos they are taking pre-orders as their cakes are out of stock! Singaporeans' actions are fast when it comes to food.

So Dad introduced Secret's World, which I was attracted to this design (above).
Chocolate Tiramisu.
*YUMMY*
(Oh and in case you didn't notice, there's wax on the cake. HAHA)

Me and XiaoZhu

My 'birth mark' - bitten by XiaoZhu
It's still painful when I touch it. Don't belittle his strength.

Dad & 3rd Bro had to not wear their top (as usal) even for photo-taking.
So I had to photoshop them a top each. =x

I have no idea what was I doing with the expression =x
