This is really a superbly well done local drama that kept my eyes glued and looking forward to the next episode every time!
The ending was rather unexpected and if you look back at it, everything makes sense as they have dropped slightly noticeable hints in between the episodes.
One that I've noticed was before it was revealed was this:

I wondered when Dewei says that Zhirong told him about the case 15 years ago... like "Why would he tell Dewei so easily just because he is a CID?"
And Ep 16:

It was quite puzzling to me for his 'sudden injury' which Xiaoman asked him about and he just said that he got hurt playing football... then I recalled seeing a scene probably in the opening song of him and Yuze struggling in a car...
And another one was this:

There was no reason for him to fire 2 shots at Andrew when 1 shot was already enough to control the situation because it was shot at the critical position...
But in the end it was still quite shocking because it didn't occur to me that he would be the one... Dewei always seemed like a person (like what Xiaoman says) with IQ below 85. Haha. Bangjun acted very well for this role.

I like how Rui En everytime geared up her fierce prowess and commands. Power!
A very good actress.
I gathered about Xiaoman's father's behaviour... Through the words they used:

and Thomas Kok's expressions before he died when mentioned of Xiaoman's father's name...
so it was rather a confirmation than a conclusion when Xiaoman finally learns about her father's doing...
And like what Xiaoman said, sometimes the truth is ugly...
It's brilliant to incorporate one big case while the other cases are going on. Nice.
Joshua's performance in this drama was excellent too, I was touched during the scenes of him and his Mum and the heartless Dad.
However the last case of the identity switch seems to be rather unnecessary and rushed.
It then dawn on me that we can also produce great police dramas locally based on past productions like the one that Xie Shao Guang acted in which he was a police and was the ultimate pervertic killer (I forgot the title), and 破茧而出.

The ending of Unriddle 最火搭档™ made it seem like a possible 2nd season, and I hope there would be!
And I think they made the ending with Xiaoman going to a date probably to set the opening for the (possible) next season like the opening for this season (if you could recall) - Xiaoman going on a date with Yuze.
There were also room for more stories to be developed on as new character pops up, and the 'rivalry' between Dylan and Yuze.
