Happy Teachers' Day!
Went back to secondary school first in the morning yesterday.
Felt nostalgic when I saw how they celebrated the occasion as a whole school... though the emcees were practically reading off the script.
Happened to see Mdm Shoba, my sec 1 English teacher. Surprisingly she still recognised me.Felt nostalgic when I saw how they celebrated the occasion as a whole school... though the emcees were practically reading off the script.
Mr Choh was busy catching up with other students so I decided to find others first. Finally saw Mrs Leau 'cos she had been on maternity leave for the past 2 years when I went back, and I told her don't be on maternity leave this year again. =x She speaks cutely, like talking to primary school kid. HA! Also met Mdm Boey.
Oh, then later on, didn't get to see Mr Choh, and z.yan needs to go off already. So off we went.
Met up with Mum for lunch and met up with PS to go primary school. Busy busy. HOHO.
Didn't have to call for teacher to bring us in anymore. Just had to sign in at the security post. Toured around... everything is just unlike the old building which we studied in. So new, but no home-ly feeling. PS couldn't tahan the noise level. Imagine we were all contributed to the 'noise pollution' when we were at their age. It can be comparable to arcade centres. HA!
It was indescribable for PS when she saw Mr Ang. HAHA. KF wants to see him too, to see how much he has changed since the time when he was a trainee
PS and I still had a long~~ time before evening to meet KF for The Proposal. So went to check out what movie we could catch to kill time. Decided on Up, and realised a whole lot of secondary school students surrounded us in the cinema.

Up is a very children type of movie... full of imagination, which won't happen, nevertheless, it was rather cute and funny. But Fredricksen grew old so quickly with Ellie that I thought he was just imagining things to happen between the both of them. Sometimes we just need to let ourselves return to the childhood times when we were all still naive, and let things seem simple.
We were on our way up to the cinema when we met PB who is rushing~... but we had to chat awhile and take a picture for this moment, so TADA!

The Proposal was quite good, considering the fact that you are looking for a movie that will make you laugh. The two actors had great acting, especially Sandra Bullock, I laughed non-stop when she do the 'dance' with the grandma! The minor characters played their role well in their expressions of "Aww..." HAHA

But we all felt that there wasn't enough details about the male (Andrew) and female (Margaret) lead's relationship get along... The ending when the credits was rolling was kinda 'err... huh?'
And... there was a camera angle which I found weird... was when Andrew was chatting with his ex-girlfriend, then the ex-girlfriend look over his shoulder to acknowledge Margaret. The next shot was a side MLS of the three of them when I thought it was to be a CU, because Margaret was also looking at them, not looking elsewhere. (._.?) Anyone has any idea what I'm talking about? Haha. Never mind.
The movie is still worth watching!
