was supposed to make me quite bored along the way to school today...
AND in fact, it wasn't suppose to be a school day 'cos D is on MC and we only have D's lesson today.
BUT I was on MC last Mon for GEMS, which we were suppose to have test.
So... make-up test today lor.

Ok that aside, the main thing is, without music's company, I overheard a conversation between 2 aunties when they boarded at... er, I don't know which station.

• One was talking about how she received a threat from someone who called to claim that he had her son in his hands, and demanded for a ransom of $30k. There was even mimicking of her son's screaming. She was kinda doubtful at first because of the demand of a mere $30k, but still quite worried, and she tried to sound that man out if her son is really with him, and told him that she needs to check if she has got $30k.
  
  
• While she was conversing over the phone, her daughter-in-law overheard and came out from the room and made hand signals to her that the call is a fake one.
  
  
• It was then that she tried to confront the man and asked him to verify her son's name, but the man threatened her to cut off 2 of her son's fingers if she dare use such tone against him.
  
  
• After that she put down the phone, and immediately called the police.

Wow. That was an exciting story to hear. It sounds like she's talking to me huh? HAHA But she was talking to her friend, rather loudly, and I was just beside. So. =x

I guess the learning point here is to remain calm at such situations and verify the identity your love one... and the auntie has also said that the police told her that they had been receiving reports on such cases recently.
I think if it's my mum, she'll be all frantic.


So... without music in my ears can be a rather interesting experience too. comment (0)
