Ahh well, as the title suggests, it's the virtual TV studio we have in SP.
The SP open house was for the secondary school students to come experience how it feels like to work with the equipments and have more understanding of what we learn... bla bla bla...
Yeah, so, to make a truthful statement, I've never regretted coming into this course.
There's loads of powerful bright lights, two big-sized cameras...

This one on the right is the teleprompter, where the newscasters usually read off from it to report on the news. So when they are looking at you, they are actually reading the scripts.

This is the control suite, where all the panels of controls are, such as the brightness of the lights, switching from camera to camera, transition effects etc.

There's also the voice-recording system, where VO (voice-over) and such are recorded.

This is where you can record songs I guess... It's in a little room, have not been exposed to using it before.
Today was the only chance that we've been able to play with the equipments and all...
TVSM! (My top choice of elective module! Please come to me...!)
And to state some amazing facts:
1) Just this small studio all equipped in SP costs up to $2 m
2) News is actually the most costly production to work on
