There's 2 Star Awards show this year, in which the first one, in collaboration of its celebration of the station's 25 years of drama production - 25th Drama Anniversary Show is
telecasting 'LIVE' from the Caldecott MediaCorp @ 7pm on Channel 8 tonight!
Veteran artistes of the past and now, including the new rising stars, a total of 150 artistes attended this ceremony!

The very respected veteran artistes - Bai Yan & Chen Mei Guang, were present too, and when mentioned and invited up on stage to give a speech, all of the artistes stood up to welcome and show their salutations! It was a very memorable and glamourous scene!
And I remember watching the 2 veterans acting in some of the dramas before too... especially Bai Yan 叔 as Earth God （土地公）in Ji Gong show!!
He's already 88 years old! And when he mentioned about maybe there's no chance to join in the celebration of Star Awards again 'cos he's 88 already... awww... but I wished he'd go every year, or even go for the one that's on this Sunday!
Xie Shao Guang won the Favourite Actor award and his role in Golden Pillow was among the Top 10 Villians! He's my favourite actor too! A very talented and superb actor... whatever role he is given, he is able to portray it the way it should turn out!
Bryan & Michelle Chia were child actor/actress before, and some of their young photos in the drama was displayed on the screen HAHA it was cute! They hosted for a section - interviewing those who won the On-Screen Sweetheart award.
A very funny quote from Bryan: "... 所以我们有《艺坛常青树奖》, 长年做到脸青青" (meaning "... so we've got the evergreen award... work till face green green) =x
It was a very touching scene to see all of them gather together again for a memorable & significant ceremony like this... many of them teared too. Aww... it's simply so spectacular & grand!

To add on to it, he won Best Actor Award in Star Awards for 5 times, out of which, a no. of Best Supporting Actor award as well, and also winning Best Actor in Asian TV Awards as well as Star Awards in the same year for his role in Stand By Me (家人有约)!
However... he wasn't there to commemorate this ceremony, there's only his voice-recorded thank-you speech. How I wish to see him there and be on the TV again to act!
And yeah, Unbeatables was one of the 5 that was awarded the Favourite Dramas! I love this show! It's so cool and the effects and actions were all awesome!! I prefer the first 2 series one though.
